The first thing that I am going to tell you is that you have an amazing team and that I am envious and jealous of who you have on your team.

Whatever you do, do NOT make the trade. Kei Igawa will succeed as a pitcher in the States and I could tell that he will have a good pitching record this year. Chris Carpenter's big years are over, he's done. Do not trade Derek Jeter, he is the best clutch hitter in the game, man. You'll need him. David Wright is okay, but you should make that trade with Chase Utley that you mentioned in the end.

Another thing, get Adam Wainwright off of Bench and make him the closer. He is going to excel in that position just as he struck out two players to win both the World Series and the NL for the Cardinals last playoff.

Keep up the good work and good luck!

I would not give away Jeter or Thomas. The only thing you may gain in this trade is a SLIGHT edge in stolen bases (Furcal over Jeter). But Jeter will score many more runs than Furcal plus hit much better.

If you want to move someone out, I would put Thomas at Utility and get rid of Sexton.

The David Wright for Chase Utley trade is interesting. Utley is a much better pick at 2B than what you have, but I am not sure that Beltre at 3B would be better for you than keeping Brandon Phillips. Maybe you could package Cabrerra and Wright for Utley and another 3B.

I don't see the point in the trade. Carpenter is good but the upgrade in point postions is not really that much. And you already have 2 1B's, then you would have another one and still have a gaping hole in the outfield just wating for Jr's annual visit to the DL. Even though it's an upgrade to Sexson's BA.
You would still be trading 2 players that you will play every day for a downgrade at one position, 1 player who would fill in occasionally and a pitcher who plays once a week. To me this looks to make your offense more unstable. Willis and Colon are probably your most unstable pitchers maybe you could float Sexson and Colon see if you can get a pitcher/OF.

But this trade looks to ust bring in a different set of problems.

I would not do that trade. Furcal had a forgetable year and I dont think its going to get baetter. Now wright for Utley is good. if he has a problem add in Kei Igawa. And I would dump Orlando. You can get a better OF or a Util player.

Take the deal. contained in the various years i have performed solid pitching is continually more durable to go back via than offense- even on the middle IF slots. searching at your rotation Webb, Haren and probable Maine are your win adult men - which should not be adequate to stay contained in the blend. something else are question marks both because of their crew or well being. Kazmir receives you contained in the strikeout race on my own and DiceK grants magnificent numbers all round- even on off days the sox offense can carry him to a win. You %. up that pair and also you may spin Maine and yet another guy for a 2b improve, and nevertheless have better pitching. dropping Upton stings yet you may improve Hill with out a lot problem, and also you'll hit upon offensive improvements really very virtually all year. you opt for this deal- take it earlier those adult men get moved somwhere else.

that trade is a no brainer. furcal+fielder=jeter+thomas, and Carpenter is a huge upgrade over Igawa. Plus you get upside with prince. i wouldnt trade wright, phillips could be solid and beltre is not a good replacement. i would think about trading pierre to try and get another sp. hamels is great but is injury prone and colon is out for a while already. something like pierre/sexson for smoltz/magglio would be good for you i think.

I'd do it for sure, while the Furcal/Jeter changed is a big hit to your roster, the addition of Carpenter is huge, he's good for 17+ wins and 200 k's
