I am 5'6 110 and i am wondering what the best way to tackle for me is. If i try to go for the upper body, i might get plowed over, and if i go for the ankles i might miss. What shuold i do.

go for the pelvis and gut. theyll jump over you if you go to low and too high theyll juke. if you wrap up and push theyll fall. or you go for the about the bottom of the ribs on the ballside to force a fumble

Alright, everyone else you don't aim for ankles or chest. You go for the midsection that way when they fall it isn't on you. But you are still lower than them so they will have a harder time plowing you over. Aim right below the numbers around the hips, and the gut. Make sure hold on and lock up so they don't get away.

You have to get under the blockers,
then hit the runner below the waist
and wrap the thighs.
One important point: keep your legs
driving.
A foot tackle is a last resort. It's
risky and you could lose some teeth.

Don't go for he head or the ankles. Try to aim yor head and shoulders at his pelvis/ nuts. Follow this area of his body as you come in; he can juke you if you go for the torso or legs, but the pelvis always moves in the direction he intends to go. Wrap up with yor arms, keep your butt low, drive through, and laugh at his dumb ***. Then do a "Captain Morgan" over him:)

Like Offensive Tackle said- put your face mask into the guys chest, and wrap him up. Keep your legs moving, then drive him to the ground.

When i play im usually up against bigger dudes. I usually go 4 the legs because of that. Always works.

Put your shoulder pads in their thighs...hit below waist but above theirs knees

I'm only 5'4''. I go for the thighs, if they can't move their legs, they can't RUN!!Right!Try it during practice, if you DRILL someone, your coach will be happy and you will be noticed.

always try to wrap the legs man DAMN AT 110 ANYBODY WOULD OVERPOWER YOU IS YOU WENT FOR THE CHEST!!!!

PUT UR FACEMASK RIGHT IN THE CHEST AND WRAP UP AND PUMP UR FEET,I SHOULD KNOW,I SEE IT ALOT....LOL
