I started in Tae Kwon Do like many kids, and when I reached a level of proficiency I left to try my hand at other martial arts, however I returned later to teach for a few years. I stopped short of black belt, completing my black belt test, but not shelling out the $300 for the actual belt, I only have a brown belt (the belt prior to black at my school).

I have several years experience in Kali, a stick/knife fighting and grappling martial art, and am currently looking for a good studio to train in.

I have memorized the 24 movement Yang Style Tai Chi form, and I try to practice it every day. I will learn a Chin Style form in the near future.

Currently I am training in Wing Chun, which I am absolutely crazy about. I have memorized the siu lim tao, biu gee, and kim chui (I don't think I have the spelling right on those). And I am going through the 108 mook jong forms now (I bought a cheap, but effective wooden dummy on ebay).

I have memorized and continue to practice various forms from different martial arts in areas that I feel important for self defense: some disarming techniques from Krav Maga, some staff forms from shaolin kungfu, some animal forms from shaolin kungfu (snake and dragon, for their hand and leg teachniques).

Mostly I look forward to achieving higher and higher levels of skill in any of the areas that I train. I also hope that I am able to practice my arts well into the later years of adulthood.
