Growing up in the 1980s, I would have to say the Hartford Whalers is the team I think of when I think of a crappy hockey team. The Colorado Rockies would be up there, too.

if you take 5 average guys from today and bring them back to the "hunter gatherer" days with nothing, would they be able to create their own weapons and hunt down a mammoth?

I had to repost this since some of the people on yahoo answers have difficulty in reading and creating a cognitive answer based on the words of the text and not there ignorance:

Hasn't the National media made a joke of reporting when it comes to Rex Grossman?
This Rex factor is way overrated!

Look at Manning's rookie year:
26 td's and 28 int's
qb rating 71.2
win loss 3-13

Rex Grossman
23 td's and 20 int's
qb rating 73.9
win/loss 13-3

And people continue to bash this kid! It's absurd! If that is your argument for a Bears loss you need to get off the kool-aid and look at the post season this year:
Manning = 2 td's 6 int's
Grossman = 2 td's 1 int
Hmmmm...can you not see the media has created a falseness in the maligning of a young QB.
Look at Eli for the Giants...I would take Grossman over him hands down but for some reason he gets no blame for the same type of season Rex had with an arguably more talented offensive unit. It's played out...get off the Rex factor ban

I hear everyone saying the best time to bass fish is during the spawn. I am planning a trip to Three Lakes (Eagle River) Wisconsin, and I am trying to hit it during the spawn. I assume it is in the spring, but how exactly can you predict the spawn? What are the contributing factors to cause the spawn? Do these same conditions hold true across the U.S.? I am planning a trip to Texas as well. Any ideas?

I am 36 weeks pregnant with #2. One pregnancy after another, so not only do I have weight from this one I have some from the first. I decided after I have the baby and get okay from my doctor that I am fine and dandy, that I am going to start running again. Most of my weight is in my hips, butt, and thighs. I haven't ran in about three or four years, for lack of motavation so I was thinking maybe I should do a marathon, so I have a goal set and can't just not run. So how long does it usually take to train? What is the smallest one? How do I find them in my area? Do they cost anything? And how do I start training, just a small amount then increase daily/weekly? How much time should I give myself, like how far away of a marathon should I choose?

I bought a Berghaus "waterproof"Coat for hillwalking and it has let me down despite frequent re-waterproofing. I feel like sending it back but have had it 18months now. Anyone else has problems with this make or is it just a one off? My husband's seems ok.

Little Tommy went to kindergarden one day wearing a Penguins jersey. His teacher asked him why he was a Penguins fan. He said, "Because my parents are." His teacher said, "That's not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?" Tommy replied, "Well then I would be a Flyers fan!"

NOT BECAUSE THEY'RE GOOD BUT BECAUSE THEY'RE BAD.
My List (i only have room for 7)...
1. Terrell Owens - million dollar talent and a five-cent head.
2. Mike Tyson - reminds me of a mean version of Michael Jackson. This guy has so many issues.
3. Don King - destroyed an entire sport for years
4. Randy Moss - what happened to you, man? just shut up and play. You used to be an elite player, now you're a punch-line.
5. Todd Bertuzzi - never should have been let back in hockey after attacking Steve Moore and ruining his career.
6. David Beckham - let's face it, soccer will never amount to much in this country no matter if Pele, Beckham, Elvis and Jesus Christ played. So stay over in europe, enjoy being the best, and STOP saying it wasn't about the money, but about the kids. The kids might care for a few years but, really, they'll move on.
7. Chris Webber - over-rated since birth

I need some advice on how to get stronger with my bench pressing. I'm sound on my form, but I don't seem to be getting much stronger. I usually start out at an amount I can comfortably lift 10 reps and work up from there. How much weight should I add with each set? I can't seem to find a happy medium. Seems like I'm always adding too little or too much.

Also, which secondary muscles should I be working to help with the bench press. I know triceps are important. Are there any other muscles I should be working?

Thanks!
