I bought a Berghaus "waterproof"Coat for hillwalking and it has let me down despite frequent re-waterproofing. I feel like sending it back but have had it 18months now. Anyone else has problems with this make or is it just a one off? My husband's seems ok.

Thanks. It is Goretex lined and I use Texwash and Texmax exactly as instructed but still useless. I have a thin roll-up Regatta thing that's better.

If you have 2 of them and one is OK then I would contact them and tell them what is happening.
Most companies will be happy to replace it for you.

I prefer and use almost exclusively products that are Gore Tex lined for waterproofing.

I see you added the Gore Tex part. It might have come apart at the seams where the Gore Tex is taped?
I have only had one 'go bad' and it was the first one I ever owned, about 18 years ago, and I think it was because I didn't wash it enough nor did I use Tech Wash, NikWax or any other product. :-(
It was my fault and since I haven't had any problems with them.

have you ever tried a curling mascara that's no longer water resistant? Maybelline has a product called Sky hi Curves in water resistant and non water evidence. I even have heard stable comments approximately conceal lady's Lash top.
