Does anyone besides me find it disturbing that Toyota, a foriegn auto maker has been given permission to compete in the Nextel Cup division of NASCAR ? I realize that Toyota has been competing in the truck division for a number of years and I found that unsettling as well. Has greed and the selling out of America finally reached our most down-home,traditional activities? How long will it be before we have japanese teams in Major League Baseball? Johnny Mantz and Fred Lorenzen must be spinning in their graves!!

Two Polish guys were taking their first train trip to Warsaw on the train. A vendor came down the corridor selling bananas which they'd never seen before. Each bought one.

There's no doubt that Kirk Herbstreit knows the game of football, but can he be any more biased and contradictive? For example, the day USC played UCLA, Kirk was slamming the Gators because of how bad they played against Florida State, and then he was blabbing about how the USC and UCLA match-up is going to be a tough game because it's a rivalry game. What in the world does he think the Florida / Florida State match-up is??? If the Florida / Florida State match-up isn't one of the biggest rivalries in college football, then what in the world is it??? We all know how much respect Kirk lacks for the SEC and how much he's biased towards the Big Ten and the Pac Ten, and I could go on and on with many examples of how biased and contradictive he is, but I want to hear what other people think.
