No, because your team was stupid enough to help the Yankees by trading for Gary Sheffield... Thanks for nothing!

They have a chance to make the playoffs because the Central has weakened but other teams such as the Yankees and Red Sox have got better while Tigers have stayed the same, not to mention the fact they now have a clubhouse cancer in Gary Sheffield.

Will they made the World Series?

I hope so, but I dont think they will.

As much as i would love that to happen,
I know the yankees are pissed and will look to get even with us.

Thier pitching show be as good, if not better, than 2006.
And with the experience they gained from being in the playoffs they will only get better.

But it will be tough to beat The Yankees.

If the tigers get the same performances from the pitching staff and improvements by players like Granderson and Inge I think they have an excellent chance. The Yankees are strong but are they any better now than they were when the Tigers beat them? I dont think so.

Hey, mrbush, if the tigers helped the yanks by taking sheffield, whyd ud say, "thanx for nothing". If u honestly thinks it helps the yankees not to have him, u should be thanking them. And as for the tigers, they had the best rotation in baseball WITHOUT experience last year, now they hav the best WITH experience. Tigers over the Cubs in 5!

No, because they will not make it to the world series next year. The Yankees are the team to beat in the American League and should win their 40th American League Pennant. Who they play in the world series is a big question mark but I like the Phillies in the National League.

It will be hard to duplicate last year. So don't set your standards too high for them this year. The AL Central is going to be tough again this year with Minnesota and Cleveland having such good young talent.

Sorry but the Tigers are one hit wonders just like the White Sox and Red Sox. Yankees man all the way for the next five years. Like it or not!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well getting to the WS shouldn't be hard since their division should be easy to take and most other AL teams probably couldn't beat them but it really depends who they verse but I would have to say no. Sry
