I think it would be a fun experience to be a role model and also stay in shape some myself.
I'm a 23 year old male with too much spare time after work and on the weekends.
I don't want to get too involved in anything real serious.. just something intramural I guess?

what is the stiffness number (e.g. 68) stands for? does a higher number means a more rigid racquet? and if so, is it better to have a stiffer racquet than a flexible one?

I really dont think Beckham is that good. All he really does is take penalty kicks! Beckham is good at penalty kicks, but thats all. I was so realieved when he hurt his leg in the world cup against Portugal. i just knew there were not going to be any penalty kicks that they will really have to worry about. but i want to know who likes beckham. oh and im sorry im saying all these things about beckham, since some people like him!

QB's: This is a multi-part question. Sort of like old school vs. new school in different categories:


1. Prettiest, arching, farthest travelling, long ball spiral: Jeff George -or- Michael Vick?

2. Most accurate long ball: Carson Palmer -or- Troy Aikman?

3. Strongest arm/most velocity on throws: John Elway -or- Brett Favre?

3. Quicker release: Peyton Manning -or- Dan Marino?

4. And finally, most battle tested, resiliant, championship QB: Joe Montana -or- Tom Brady?


Pick only one in each category, and try to find video if you haven't seen any of the mentioned above. Youtube may have some videos.

It's bowl season, and I'm watching way too much football. I've looked over the offical rules:

But I still have some questions about hypothetical scenarios. Is there an online forum where these are discussed?

FWIW, here are a couple of the scenarios:
1. The new team uniforms conform to the section 1-4 of the rules, but is made of a new, high-tech material that is both form-fitting and has a low coefficient of friction. This makes it more difficult for the opposing team to get a grip during tackles. Legal?
2. A player has a bandana on under his helmet, and it's not visible while the helmet is on. He is hit hard on a play, which knocks off his helmet exposing the bandana. Is there a penalty?
