I'm thinking of getting a new pair of basketball shoes.
I want a pair that could improve my game and I'm playing at guard or small forward.

Do you have any suggestions of shoes that might be good?

I have Brees who over the year has done amazingly and is an MVP candidate. However, New Orleans has already clinched a playoff spot. Does anyone know if he is gonna play at all or if he even is a solid start.

My backups are Pennington, Warner, and Kitna

Hopkins has begun initial consultations with Mackie Shilstone, the revered sports fitness expert, to determine whether or not it would be feasible for Hopkins to build a heavyweight physique capable of competing with the much larger Maskaev.

Boxrec.com Says he is fighting an unknown fighter on July 14th 2007... Is Bernard Hopkins REALLY going to challenge for the WBC heavyweight title? If so, can he POSSIBLY beat the guy who KOed Hasim Rahman twice? If Maskaev has a 1 rd KO loss to McCall, a 2 rd KO loss to "Goofy" Whitaker, a 4 rd KO loss to Kirk Johnson, as well as 2 other KO losses, can Bernard pull it off? Should he try?

today i went running outside, like i always do. but my left ankle was hurting me, not enough to stop but enough to feel pain. I always run on cement, so I tried running on the grass but it only hurt more. Also, one of my right toes was hurting, like a pull. do you think it's my shoes or am i injured? should i stop running for awhile??

Which club do you think will ruin the careers of these two promising Scottish stars
a)Hibs-for not letting them move
b)Rangers-If they go there they will be playing for a sh it team
c)Celtic-For letting them stagnate on the bench(like Riordan).

Personally I think their careers would progress further by a move down south. A move to either of the Old Firm would kill off any ambitions either of them have to go further in the game.

I have seen many definitions.

One is that it is a weapon that can switch between semi-automatic and fully automatic fire. But, a Thompson sub-machine gun can also do this and it is not an assault rifle it is a submachinegun. Another definition is that it fires an intermediate round, something between a rifle round and a pistol round. An AR-15 fires an intermediate round and it is just a semiautomatic rifle that looks "mean"....I don't consider it an assault rifle, it is just a semi-automatic rifle to me.

The phrase seems bogus to me. It seems that whenever someone wants to make a gun look "bad" they call it "assault rifle". "Assault" also means "attack" so it also seems like the definition depends on what you are using it for. You could assault someone with any rifle...does that mean a bolt action .22 cricket is an assault rifle too?

I feel that if there is no definite defintion that everyone honors and that we should just make up a new term and scrap "assault rifle".
