I have Brees who over the year has done amazingly and is an MVP candidate. However, New Orleans has already clinched a playoff spot. Does anyone know if he is gonna play at all or if he even is a solid start.

My backups are Pennington, Warner, and Kitna

In Summary:
Brees vs Car
Pennington vs Oak
Kitna @ Dal
Warner @ SD

Go with Kitna. Oakland is ranked near the top in Pass defensive. Brees will not get many snaps. Warner .. lets just say he's not that good. In conlcusion, go with Kitna who had a superb game vs. the Bears D and this week you'll see why Garcia had a good game like he did last week.

No Brees will only get 1 series or 2. SD will kill Warner and Kitna despite a good week last week against the stingy Bears D will not succeed @ Dallas. Go Pennington at home against an average Raiders D. Pennington will give 120% cause he is fighting for a playoff spot. Go Chad my man Pennington.

I would play Pennington because the Jets need to win to clinch a playoff spot. Their destiny can be controlled by them, and that's the best way to go into the playoffs.

Brees may be pulled. They have #2 seed wrapped up.

I'm not ready to give up on the Dallas D. I wouldn't start Kitna. The Lions downright stink!

Warner vs SD? After this game maybe he should consider retirement!

Saints have everyone the way they want it. Why would they take a risk now?

Brees will start. He's play less then a half. If he even gets hit hard were he's down for 5 secs they'll probably remove him from the game at that point.

Bench Brees.

Your best bet is go with Kitna. Lions record may suck. But Dallas won't be able to stop Roy Williams. He will go for the endzone the whole game.

Kitna I see with 3 TD's and 300+ yards. Look what they did vs the Bears. The best DEF is the Bears this season.

The Jets are facing one of the toughest defenses in the league with Oakland, which had only allowed eight receiving TDs. Coles also could likely be unavailable for this game, as he is listed as questionable. They will probably run a lot with Leon Washington and be conservative with the passing game.

Brees is liklely to see little action if any at all since they have the No. 2 seed wrapped up. There is no incentive for him to play.

Kitna is a top-five yardage guy, but with no running game to really speak of, even the susceptible Dallas defense could be limiting to the success of Kitna's attack.

Warner doesn't have a very good matchup with San Diego either, but Edgerrin James has ran the ball well of late and that could help open the passing game. Arizona could fall behind quick and ealry as well, and Warner definitely has the best options to throw to out of the shotgun.

I would say Warner is the best bet, but if you're afraid of a sack and a concussion, then I would go with Kitna.

All four have downside....I'd start Brees, unless he gets benched before gametime. Pennington is your next best bet, but Oakland -despite being maligned overall - has an excellent and healthy secondary.

Expect the Jets to run the ball 40-50 times against the Raiders to run the clock and their endurance down, and Pennington to suffer the numbers for it.

Dont start Kitna, im a lions fan..just dont, Bree's is great but the Saints wont play him all game. You have to pick Pennington considering he's playing the Raiders and the jets must win to try and get to the playoffs

Jets need a win
expect Pennington to come up big over Oakland

They still need MO. Brees will play but get one touchdown at most. The Jets NEED to win so Pennington will show up for sure.

Warner is the tempting play here...if not Kitna is the play...The Cowboys secondary is a train wreck right now...

Good luck...
