20/20 cricket counts as a match if 5 overs are bowled. WTF??

only 30 balls bowled and it counts as a match, surely it has to be at least 8 if not 10 overs, that is bullsh*it. Sri Lanka just won after facing only 35 balls, still got 3/4 of their innings left, ANYTHING could have happened.
