Okay...yeah, I've heard about this, just like everyone else has. And I do think Bastista v. Undertaker is going to happen at WM23. But, I honestly think things will change by April, and 'Taker will take home the gold. He's only got a few years left in him, it'd be in the best interest of the WWE to give him, a fan favorite, one more title run, and to leave him UNDEFEATED at WrestleMania, so we can always remember him like that. The Phenom, undefeated at the biggest event in Sports Entertainment. It'd be such a waste, to mar his record after over a decade and a half, just a year or two before he retires.

According to a bunch of Internet sources, yes...it's true. Vince McMahon has agreed to the plan (or so it seems), and wants the match to be the main event of WrestleMania 23, a title vs. streak match. The unfortunate part is that there is huge talk of Batista finally ending The Undertaker's streak at WrestleMania.
But then again...the Internet is the Internet and nothing is legit until it happens for real. Take these rumors for what their worth coz anything can change in a matter of seconds.

Every source I've read and heard say the same thing.. I want nothing more than to see the Undertakers streak end, only because it would be a career lifter and defining moment for a young guy, or someone who needs a huge lift. That person is not Batista. Rumor had it that Orton was going to end the streak two years ago, but as we know, he ripped up his shoulder and was going to be out for a few months... Why give a major steppingstone like ending a monster streak to someone who really couldn't capitalize on it. I would like to see Edge end it personally, due to the fact that he has the second longest streak, and so therefore it would be the longest two win streaks in Mania history.. One streak would end for sure, that would be cool to say the least.
Taker has had a good run, its time to put someone else over, and make their career...
I don't want to see Batista do it because frankly hes old anyways, and won't have the time to capitalize (department of redundency department, I know).....
I'm not an Undertaker hater by any means, honest... what good is a streak to someone who is about to retire... I just hope whoever gets that golden ticket is able to capitalize on it!

I won't get very excited about this match.
Undertaker is way past his prime and don't think he can't do the same 10 years ago.
The last fight with "The next big thing" Brock Lesler, you clearly see he is out of breath too soon.
I don't think he can do any damage to Batista due to his fitness and stamina.

If so, then the streak will be broken and will be Taker's last match. From what I've heard, Taker and Kane will be hanging up the boots after WM23. (AKA they will be retiring for those of you who didn't understand that)
