I just got a new yoga mat. the brand name is tapas. My yoga teaher told me to wash it with shampoo to make it more sticky, less slippery. I did that, but it is still slippery. It is supposed to be a good mat, not cheap. Anyone have any advice on making it less slippery?

I've heard the NHL is planning to introduce new jerseys for goaltenders. The jerseys are supposed to be a different style, pattern, and even color from the rest of the team (simular to soccer). The jerseys are also supposed to be slimmer, to increase scoring. Is this true? Does anyone else think this is a good idea? I'm kind of excited if it goes well!

I am buying one of the charger sixtyones from a family friend for $50 w/bindings....so i'm pretty siked. But, i was wondering if anyone has any info on the board, because i can't find any online. I am an intermediate border, and plan to go on a few jumps and a few park areas but not a real extreme park or jump. I also plan to just ride with it. So my question is: Does this board suit wat i need?
And one other thing, I live in St.Louis so i only go snowboarding 1-3 times a year, but i'm goin to colarado for a snowboard trip. So if you know how it rides in the rockies and the Wisconsin areas that would be very helpful too. Thanx

I was listening to the commentary by John Madden and he talked about how no quarterback knows the game better (which I already knew) and he also said that Peyton is basically a Quarterback/Coach. So do you think after Peyton's carrer is done many many many years on down the road, do you think he would make a great Head Coach? I believe he would because I think he understands every aspect of the game. What do you think?

I saw something earlier this year that I fell in love with as a gift for my father-in-law. However, I've since forgotten what it was called, and the store I saw it at has gone out of business. I was hoping someone here might be able to tell me what it is.
It's a rack that mounts on the inside of a vehicle's roof to carry both guns and fishing poles. It had metal brackets that mounted into the roof with screws, and was advertised as being able to hold up to 100lbs. It also had a flat front that would keep the guns/poles from sliding forward in the car.
So far, everything I've been able to find either
1. Carries one or the other but not both
2. Attaches with suction cups to a back window
3. Or mounts to the outside of a car, not the inside.
And my husband and my mother-in-law don't have a clue either, so no help there.
Does anyone know what's it called, or a store on line that carries something like that?
