I don't hate Chicago. I think a lot of people get touchy when a team does really, really well, much more than their team. I was actually rooting for Chicago (up until next week when they play my team :-X) and I was sad for their loss today.
Trust me. I see plenty of people bashing other teams. Especially one of my favorite players. It's just something you have to kind of turn your head away from.
I hate the Patriots, but I don't hate them because they have now 2 losses. I hate them for about 50 other reasons.

People hate the Bears because they are the founding franchise of the NFL, and for years shoved their dominance down everyones throat..There was a time in the leafgue that the Bears would win everything..They have the winningest % in the NFL, and the most HOFers to boot..people resent this, and now that othere teams have caught up to their standards( any many have surpassed it), its "payback" time

Im from Chicago also but I am a football fan. People are sayin that they are flops and why they hate them is because they are no good. But you make a good point about the Pats. I think its because there use to us lossin and want it back. And the way we win like over the Cards with a comeback or over the 49er's BIG. Or they just hate Chicago but either way 1 lose means nothing. (Unless its in the playoffs).

I dont think everyone hates them but I do think they are tired of seeing everyone saying they are reminded of the 85 bears. they havent beat anyone of consiquence. The best team they beat were the vikings who lost to SF today so I think the people that kept their mouth shut about that since they havent lost can now come out and say what they think.

I don't know. I don't hate the Bears, I actually always thought that the Bears were underrated (at least before this year). I was shocked when they got beaten by the Dolphins today. But next week, its between Giants and Bears. So...GO GIANTS!

i don't think anyone really hates the bears but like anyone, or anything that has success everyone waits to see them fail that's all, they are still a good team , just had an off day

The Bears are totally overrated they have not played any good teams and have already lost, but everyones all "how bout da bears" every other question on here.. it's totally lame.. i live near chicago, but screw the bears go peyton! colts rock.. they have played -good- teams and won.. haven't lost.. totallllllly haven't lost to the dolphins..

People often bash the team on top. But, the Bears have proven that they are not as good as their record. They should have lost to Arizona, and they lost to the Dolphins?!

I don't. I think they are a great team. In fact, I think they will play my Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl this year, but I think the Colts will win. GO COLTS!
