I watched a game on ESPN classic between the L.A. Lakers and the Boston Celtics in a 1984 championship series. These guys where all over the place! Playing blanketing defense and running up and down the court at tremendous speeds. I think people are wrong to say that Athletes are stronger physically today than in the past. In fact, I think it is the opposite! I mean Reggie Miller (who used to play for the pacers) Was alot older than alot of his opponents before he retired. But he made alot of them look like ****! Kobe Bryant himself said that Reggie Miller is the toughest player in the NBA to guard! Whats wrong with the NBA today? Why are they slower and lazier than they have been in the past? Kobe, Lebron, Dwane Wade are some exceptions, but these guys just don't seem to be half as athletic as some in the past.

It's just 6- or 10-pound test on a light freshwater pole and I used to know how to make one, but don't remember anymore, or even what type it was. But I'm not looking necessarily for that specific knot - just something strong enough for maybe a nice-sized bass, (if I'm really lucky!) but not too complicated to make. Also, I'll probably just put on a small swivel and replace the hooks there, when necessary, rather than having to tie a new one (hook) directly on the line every time, if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance, for the help. : )

I was playing pool by myself at a local bar practicing some shots. A guy comes up and placed his quarters on the rack and we played. He was clearly a better player, but I got hot and I beat him and then quit (I didn't really want to play anyone else in the first place). Did I owe him a rematch or was it o.k. for me to quit?

Its easy when I'm 10 feet away, but when I get any father than say 6 feet, I can only get it about 2 feet high. Any suggestions?

I bet the analysts won't have much bad to say about the Colts defense this week! 4 interceptions, 1 fumble recovery, and some pretty impressive hits! Everyone wants to pick on the Colts because of the run defense. But the Colts have one of the smallest defenses in the league. They are buit for speed. And they can be very good at causing turnovers. As with what happened tonight. I'm sorry, but these analysts don't know what they are talking about! The Colts defense is so so so bad that they are 8 -0? Their defense sucks so so bad that they go on the road and beat Denver and New England? Its a 100% fact that without a tough defense any team would have been clobbered in these 2 games!
