i dont know most the boxer's that train at my gym are hispanic.. and im mixed... and i kick *** lol.i think it personally depends on the persons skillz and not really skin color. i can see where u are coming from though cuz alot of my white freinds ask if there is white ppl at in boxing in stuff.. i guess the general public sees boxing as a minority dominated sport.. well i know that it is better to be darker in a fight cuz then the bruises dont show up. we always have to fake bake before a match.

This question does not make sense, because there is no such thing as a right or wrong opinion, and this question is based on an opinion. A much better question to ask would be "What do you like better: white boxers or black boxers?" My answer to THAT question is: Black boxers, because 1. Black is my favorite color and 2. When you wear black, it hides dirt better than any other color and white does not hide dirt at all. But I will answer your question: Who says white boxers are better than black boxers?? I love black MUCH better.

Where did you get that idea? It depends on a case by
case basis. There are great white and black boxers,
and the same applies at the other end of the scale too.
There are horrible black and white boxers too. Boxing has
more to do with work ethic, skill level, and other factors
than it does to do with skin color.

This Is not a serious answer...
because when a white boxer began to sweat, the whole body is covered with sweat, and with the help of the lights around, the boxer's body will become shiny because the white boxer's complexion is fair, which might blind the black boxer's view and... POOFF,a K.O. punch....
Just joking actually....the truth is,nobody knows why...

i've seen some bonehead remarks on this forum, but you win the prize. i've seen great white boxers & great black boxers. and my personal top 10,50,100 list each has at least 50% black fighters, including the two best ever. and by the way, i'm white.

Come on are you just trying to stir up racial tension on the site, that is an absolutely ridiculous question, if i named my top ten alltime Marciano might be the only white boxer to come close to getting in, there would be 6 or 7 black boxers and 3 or 4 hispanics.
If you are talking about the current Heavyweight situation i cant see it lasting long their just isnt a very good crop of Heavys around at the minute.
If your just a racist then stay out of the boxing section please we already have enough idiots who havent got a clue sticking their oar in.
And yes i am white.

by using fact ninety% of the great boxers have been born detrimental and so boxers regularly come from deprived minorites. those communities then of course improve the gyms and running shoes to offer the subsequent technology.

You must not know much about boxing. When in the last 30 years has a white man won the heavy weight championship? Think about, that should answer your question.

Dunno about 'better'...but they seem to be younger and smaller than black fighters. I'm sure south of California (far far south in fact) they might disagree with you. Mucho buenas!
Where there was one McGuigan, there was usually half a dozen Durans and Johnsons.

Rip ~
Where have you been Bro, this is 2006 not 1946. There isn't this influx of Jewish, Irish and Italian fighters anymore, those days are long gone. The majority of fighters out there today are African American and Latino.
