Here's the bottom line, man to man, Brady does not have the skill set Manning has. The Colts offensive line needs to create holes for the run, keep Peyton off the ground. the defense needs to continue to do what they are doing. Harrison, Wayne, Addai, Utech, are going to make a play if they get the ball. I would love to see Dungy get the big prize...these guys are unstoppable, provided they don't get emotional during the game and focus on the matter at hand.

Every team has it's ups and downs. It depends on who's well enough to play, who's out for injuries, etc. I think the Colts played pretty well tonight. Sure, there were times that the Colts could have done better (i.e. Peyton being sacked 3 times in the game), but it's not just about the offense or the defense. It's all about how well both sides played against the the opposing team's plays. I think both teams played well, but the Colts were able to pull it out in the end. Go Colts!

No, "guitarman," while it SHOULD shut the critics up it won't. There are a LOT of so called anal-ists who will still be knocking the Colts. You check during the week and I'm betting you WILL find so-called "Power Rankings" in which the Colts are STILL not number 1! These imbeciles will yabber about "ability to run and stop the run," "size of the defence" "over-rated" "lucky" etc. etc.
This team is doing the proper job of any NFL team, they win all the games they play, against ANYBODY! Football is NOT about "stopping the run" or "statistics", or "keeping it on the ground", "controlling the clock" or "balanced offence" or "winning big" or any other stupid irrelevant thing. It is about winning enough games to make the playoffs, making it through the playoffs and into the SB, then winning THAT!
Don't worry what any overpaid talking head has to say, this Colts team is well on the way to a great season, if anything, its coming together as the best Colts team EVER, we'll see........

It was good to see the Colts win. I was however, disappointed in Brady's play. I suppose every now and then even the great ones have sub par games. I thought Manning's passing game was the difference. Going undefeated is still possible but not probable however I would love to see Tony Dungy get that ring. Tampa Bay screwed up big time letting him go. Even though Dungy wasn't with the Bucs during their Super Bowl year, I still consider that team Dungy's team. This year I hope he finally get the credit he deserves. All in all last nights game was pretty good.

They still can't win it all with that defense! They started 8 and 0 last year. The Patriots still have a better chance of winning it all. Think about it, the Pats turned the ball over 5 times and we were still in the game til the last 24 seconds. The only reason they are undefeated to this point is they have the most impressive passing game in the league, but that won't carry them all the way.

You made some good points. Some of the interceptions were caused by good pressure that the D-line got on Brady. The one tipped at the line - give credit to that guy. But look at it another way - the Colts had the advantage of 5 turnovers, yet won by only 7, cuz their D is not all that good. Good enough to win, but Manning has to do too much to carry that team. That D can't carry them in the playoffs.

It's been a good day. Two of the most loud-mouthed, arrogant fanbases in the NFL have been fed some humble pie, Chicago and New England. The Pats fans on this board have been nearly insufferable about this game as the Bears fans are all the time. Perhaps we can speak about football now rather than how Chicago is the most blah-blah-blah-amazing-blah-blah-blah-wonderful-blah-blah-blah-winningest team ever in the history of all sports and crap.
Phew!

I think the Colts are for real this season and they will be tough to beat in the playoffs..Then again, that is where they usually fall apart..I think they will have the 1 seed and Denver the 2..
