Practice doing this by yourself with a bucket of pucks.
Get someone like a coach or an older player to show you the proper technique on how to do it.
I'm not an expert but I think it's mainly using your wrists and an upward pulling motion when you are in very close to the net.

How I would do it
Backhand - I pull the puck back with my forehand and while its moving scoop it with the backhand the opposing forces should allow it to be scooped
Forehand - cup the puck with your stick toe it around (sort of a drag) and quickly turn your wrist as you pull up. It will take practice but this are fairly beginner techniques and should be easy. Once you get that down you should be able to learn to do it quickly with a snapshot. And the bucket of pucks is a good idea, if you have access to a pond use that or just in a practice

Wrist shot is your best bet to get the puck up high. I personally can put it in the top corners over a goalie from anywhere basically in the the offensive zone.

What Habitant said in combination with what acdc fan said. quick snapshot with the tip of the stick along with a good follow through should guide the puck up and where you want it to go. Practice, practice, practice. It will come to you and you'll be doing it like it's second nature.

Bend slightly at the knees and more at the waist....take your right hand, or left depending on which way you shoot. Grab the puck firmly with said hand. Now, elevate your puck hand and release at the highest possible point....should work every time

A. Practise with a weighted puck
B. Do the wrist/forearm exerscise where you wind a string around a piece of shaft with a weight at the end.
C. Wrist curls on the preacher bench.
Don't get discouraged; good shooters are made, not born.

take a quick snap shot or flick it with the tip of your blade that should raise it high enough to go over the goalies pads.
