Move on. It's unfortunate but there's not much else to do about it.

Magoo apologized right away! I know that doesn't help, and if the Oil miss the playoffs by 1 point than they'll be all pissy. But the Human component is part of the game. All you can do is chalk it up to human error, and human error applies to all teams I'm sure you could talk to any fan anywhere and they'll be able to cite a blown call against their team. It's part of the game. The good thing here is that Magoo stood up and acknowledged right away that he made a mistake. Unlike some ref's who deny mistakes till the end. Magoo is a great ref with years of great officiating under his belt, and guess what he's human too! We all make mistakes in our jobs!

I'm a huge Stars fan, but I have to admit, there were a couple of bad calls that game. I know that if the situation were turned around, I'd be one hacked off Stars fan. I don't really know if there is anything that you can do; I mean the game is over and done with. I'm sure you could write letters of complaint or something to the NHL, but I'm not sure how effective that would be. I don't think the "higher authorities" of the NHL probably care that much, but ya never know. Good luck.

I talked to an Oilers fan for a on the same time as on the Orioles sport on my Washington trip... I had on a Rangers jersey and he had an Oilers one and the two felt much less out of place straight away.

I feel for ya, and I'm a Stars fan. It is worse for you since your team lost, but it did make our win taste sour. Think about it, we grossly out played you for like 57 minutes, so it made it look like we didn't earn the win.

I do agree that it was a bad call, and I was looking forward to a possible shootout. I've seen a lot of games with bad officiating, but I don't know what we can do about it. I think they should make it a specific person's job to keep things fair, and hand out ref suspensions or fire them. It makes me upset to.

Dallas & Edmonton, long time rivals.

GO STARS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hit the link below. There you can contact the refs association and let your feelings be known. Honestly though, from one Oiler fan to another, let it go.

You can remember the ref's name -- Mick McGeough -- and boo him every time he refs a game in Edmonton. Awful call.

do you remember what happened to Saku Koivu last years playoffs, with his eye almost torn out of his face. there was no call on it and it hurt us big time, but things like that happens all the time maybe not as bad but still the game must go on no matter what happens its a part of life.
