The most famous example of that was when Hayden Fry (IOWA) wouldn't let his players do the town before their Rose Bowl. He wouldn't let them go to Disneyland, etc. If it were a national title bowl, maybe I'd understand but if it's not a title game, let them party! I'm very sure all the coaches who will be playing in the minor bowl will be cool and let that happen since there's no BCS title at stake.

If you could build a team around one of these wide recievers which one would you pick? Personally I would pick Harrison; he has the same kind of numbers the others havs, plus he is not a distraction to the team, and he is getting better with age. If this keeps up he will be (or already is) the next Jerry Rice, heck Jerry even admitted to saying Marvin is his favorite and will go down as one of the all time bests in the game. What do you think?

You know, like even a jab would make the other boxer back up in pain. The boxer that uses the needle could then be considered the most powerful boxer alive. But remember, this is a hidden needle. That way, people would never know his source of power. Also, another realted question, could a boxer put a small amount of dynamite in his glove and then punch a man with a weak jab and then the small amount of dynamite would blow up and send the other man to the canvas? Again, this would be hidden dynamite and people wouldn't know about it. A very small amount of T N T. If this man wins, I betcha he would get alot of T N A after the bout.

Now it appears that Major League Baseball is trying to create a Super Bowl like atmosphere for the World Series. I love John Cougar Mellencamp. But all this nonsense and fanfare before, during the halftime show (in the case of the SuperBowl) and after league final sporting events is all a bunch of silliness to me. Does anybody agree with me here? I know they are trying to get "casual fans" to watch more but it turns me off. What was wrong with the entertainment value of the games in the first place?

I wish the networks would give two starting times: (1) the time all the pre-game fanfare begins and (2) the actual starting time of the kickoff, first pitch, tip-off or whatever. I just want to watch the game!

Peyton Manning and Donavan McNabb have been terrific so far this season and are probably the top two canidates to win the MVP this year, and although I hope Peyton wins (I am from Indiana), I can't help but look forward to this game. What do you fellow Colts fans, and Philly fans think?

I mean, Jeff George was a gift that God handed to the NFL back in the 80's. And Jeff George was also a comapssionate man. At times, he only used 40% of his powerful skills because he felt sorry for other teams. I wish he would come back and dominate and use 100% of his skills. The man can throw a 90 yard bomb for a touchdown with his eyes closed while drinking a beer and whistlin dixie. He did it once in San Diego and 14 people in the stands had a stroke. 2 of those stroke victims had a stroke before the game even started just from the sight of Jeff George coming out of the tunnel as he entered the field.
