First of all its 'fair' and not 'fare'. The BCCI's probe established that Mohd. Azharuddin was a match fixer. So he was suspended for life. Azhar took the battle to the courts of law. Although the case is still under progress, the court hasn't given any specific interim order to the BCCI to consider Azhar's inclusion in the national side till its verdict is out. Else the BCCI would have had to take him into consideration when selecting its test or one day teams. So why dot you think it is unfair? You are probably biased for Azhar.
Any player's inclusion or exclusion in the side should be on the basis of his performance only and no other considerations. Ganguly is no exception to this rule. The BCCI has clearly stated that Ganguly's performances aren't good enough to get him a place in the side. So he is out of the team. The same rule applied to Robin Singh and V. Prasad too. They were not only past their prime, but under performers as well when they got axed. How can Ganguly be blamed for that? Remember, he brought back J. Srinath from certain retirement, because the fast bowler though aged at that time, had still something to give for India. Ganguly personally had promising youngsters like Harbhajan, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Kaif, Balaji etc. included in the national side. With minimum exceptions, these youngsters continue to be the crux and the match winners for India even today under Dravid, with the only notable post-Ganguly inclusion being Dhoni. Deep in their hearts they are forever indebted to Ganguly for giving them a place in the Indian side. And again the impression that comes through is that you are biased against Ganguly.

I have observed some answers which are making the issue sensitive by getting religion into the picture. I request not to do such comments. And when comes to the question be precise what do you want to ask, do mix azhar and ganguly. When it comes to the suspension of azhar i think as a senior player he should be in a postion to follow some ethics when you are playing for a country who are admiring you all as some special people. You have grown on to the top with the help of this game and you do some unethical things by keeping your fame which has to got to you by this game, then i think it is not excusable at any circumstances. We are not supposed to compare azhar with other people because in india we almost admire them as gods, when they have ditched our feelings then there is no other option.
When it comes to ganguly he has digged his own grave. In the conclusion experience should be achieved in the game and at the same time in the thinking attitude of the players.

The suspension of the Azhar is not fare. He is such a player who can play with his wrist. I think there is no such player in the history of cricket. It is better to withdraw the suspension on him and utilise his services to the Indian Team for better future of the Indian team.

Our board has been over-zealous, in punishing Mohamed Azaruddin. Where as all the boards have been lenient and allowed players like Shane Warne, Herschel Gibbs, Nicky Boje Mark Waugh, Wasim Akram, etc. go with no punishment or feeble punishment., we have punished Ajay Jadeja, Nikil Sharma, Ajay Sharma, along with Azaar.

he shoukd have been hanged.. he has betrayed all the true cricket fans not only in indai but all over the world.. he should have been handed a bigger punishment..
whatever his talents and records if he is guilt ( that is proved) he should have been punished...
in ganguly's case he is totally out of form and whenevr cricket selections comes up we should give preference to form and talents rather than achievements and experience....

I fully agree with you as far as punishment to Azhar is concerned as many other players involved in match fixing escped with slighter punishments.
As far as your statement that Ganguly has ended the careers of many players, I beg to differ with you.
