Birds are no use, because unless you break the neck or a wing when serving, they just fly away. Guinea pigs are too heavy and they'll break the racquet after only a few hits. Even rats can prove to be a little heavy.

I am getting ready to move to the Greenville, SC area. I currently play softball 3 nights a week. One women's team and two co-ed teams. Anyone out there need a better than average female softball player for rec league play in Greenville/Spartanburg area?

Just wondering what people think.. Personally I think he's a solid defender, but I think when you have a player like Steven Gerrard in your squad, you make him your captain. He is probably the most inspirational and maybe the best England player since Alan Shearer.. any thoughts welcome!

This name would be for a theoretical pro baseball team. It can't be associated with any real teams (I don't want: LA DODGERS because they rule!). The city should be somewhere on the East (Chicago included) and should be a pretty cool name. Brooklyn would be a cool city (I know its not really a city, but you know what I mean) for example. And please no baseball related names (South Carolina Sluggers would be bad)

Its a little perplexing because when you see a MLB pitcher throw a fast ball that hits about 90mph, it doesn't seem like their arms are moving any faster than someone throwing 65mph. I know there is a lot in mechanics, but even so, your arm has to move faster to throw it faster. Whats the deal?

NYers love soccer. We have a diverse market with a lot of interested fans. We have 8 million ppl in NYC and 22 million in the metropolitan area. Why can't the MLS and RBNY attract fans?
