Let's face it: The Dodgers have won six world championships, five of which were in Los Angeles. The SF Giants haven't won since they moved. Is this an exercise in futility for them? Does Brian Sabean even have a chance when he continues to stock the team with veterans who break down? Is Barry Bonds' head enlarged to the point of imminent explosion, while his knees give way from years of steroid abuse? Will Armando Benitez blow 20 more saves this year, making people wish for the ghost of Rob Nenn? Will the Giants ever get over the fact that the first "splash hit" ever in their stadium was from Todd Hundley, a LA Dodger? Will the Giants ever find any corporate sponsor who actually wants to name the park, saving them from an annual name change (and costing the city a fortune in street sign repairs)? Are orange and black colors only reasonable at Halloween?

I don't want to brag but, I have just found out that I can hit a far away target 19 times out of 20! I'm not sure exactly what the team is called but the gun they use is almost like a pellet gun.
So I was just wondering if anyone knew how you could join.

hes my great uncle, he boxed in the 40's i think. he was left handed, and a contendor for the heavy weight championship. he won 26 matches untill he had his nose shattered and had a technical ko. my dad said he would fight from an orthodox position and throw a left hook. he was about 6ft1, and he was an army champion. he boxed with joe louis i think. if u hear of him, tell me, and tell me where i can learn more.

should i try out for my jv football team, im going into 9th grade. i think im a good pick for reciever, im tall for my age at 5ft10, i have a good weight at 140, i run a mile in liek 6 or 6.5 minutes. i can catch, and can stan a tackle. but im not really popular, and if i dont make it ill get laughed at. well, some of my friends will probably be on it, but alot of the kids are assholes who have parents with money and time to take them. i hope i make it. glenelg is a good team, and i think i could do it cuz of my height, and im alot faster and stronger than the people my age

After reading all the replies from many of you about Messi and his potential as a player, it seems most of you agree on it that Messi is a young prodigy for Argentina who has got superb skills. My question is : Why did Pekerman leave someone like Messi out of so many games who has got such immense talent ? Do you think that was a tactical blunder from Pekerman to leave Messi out ? Or do you agree with Pekerman's decision ? If you agree, please share with me Pekerman why you thought Pekerman did the right thing by leaving Messi out in the WC games.
