they r really good...they have Shevchenko as a captain that is great!!

I was from Ukraine now i live in US. Exept for A. Shevchenko, that team is hopeless even though I love them. Their group play was easy exept for Spain, but they lost to them 4-0. Their other 2 groupmates were Saudi Arabia and Tunisia. Ukraine and Switerland are pretty much equal and it showed. Ukraine won because of the bad day the Swiss goalkeeper had. And then they lost to Italy. So it was luck for the most part. Because Italy and Spain are too good for them and they lost to both of them very badly, beating Saudi Arabia was just because they were facing Saudi Arabia. But the win against the Swiss was skill. The victory to Tunisia was unfair because the only goal in that game was a PK by Shevchenko but the call waasn't correct.
So I'd say 65% luck and 35% skill.
But give some ups to the Dynamo Kyiv, like 98% of Ukraine's team was from Dynamo Kyiv.

Shevchenko is the only quality footballer in their national team so i think they just got lucky

I think they were a little lucky to get further than Spain who beat them 4-0 in group stage.
