just to get out of these sluggish times tell me about ur favorite soccer experience or game...whatever. heres mine: at the last wc my family and i would stay up from midnight to early morning watching soccer since we live in the US and the games were in japan and korea. it was actually fun but this yr was way better cus i could watch the games during the day. im kinda sad about s afica cus i think the times r gonna be really different again.

which country do u really think should win beside the usual: italy, brazil, argentina, germany, france..

i really like portugal and mexico. they seem reallly determined. thanks :) this forums has been like medecine after the wc.

can anyone recommend a good form of martial arts that teached discipline and defense mostly as well as a little of offense. I have a 5 and 11 year old that I would like to get them into, both girls, my son is to small still. Mostly for the 5 year old as she is small in size, (weight) and from experience she will get teased alot so I want her to be able to defend herself against bigger kids if need be, not to be aggressive though.

I just went to a freshwater spring today, which was extremely fun, and although i can hold my breath far longer then any of my cousins, and many of the people there, my ears cant bear the pressure of the water. When i get to probably about 17 -20 ish feet, i have earsplitting pain, like water goes in them and then like i dunno, hits my eardrum? I tried popping my ears, and that doesnt have the desired effect.. Do any deep divers know a good way to protect your ears from the pressure?

I'm always very self conscious when I go to the ocean or beach or someone sees me swimming with clothes on because I'm always afraid of what they would think. What do you think of people who like to swim with clothes on (jeans, shirt, socks, shoes). Maybe I shouldn't worry about what others think, but it's still nerve racking to me just thinking about what they must think.
