USA plays ‘BASE BALL’ or ‘American-Football’ pretty much with one State with another Sate (e.g. Texas Vs. New York). I don’t see a second Country to participate in it. Still why do they call their game as “WORLD CUP"?
“WORLD CUP” definition does not seem to work, if a second country does not participate in it. You must have seen what exactly mean by “WORLD CUP”, from recent FIFA “WORLD CUP”.
Why don’t you call “US – CUP” or “US NATIONAL CHAMPION CUP”? That sounds more ‘Appropriate’ word to me.
N.B. In Italy, Spain, England everywhere they have “Zonal” or “Club Champion” like US (Broncos, Jets, and Yankees). They do Not Consider “AC Milan’s or Real Madrid’s victory as World Cup’.
