This year's world cup was alright. I did however, like how many new teams showed up and displayed an excellent performance. The game was more intense and fun as it got to the quarter-finals up until finals. But seriously, I just don't enjoy a game when it goes into penalty kicks because I believe its an unfair way to make a judgement. The players should be judged based on the way they play and cooperate with their teams. Not on how they work well individually. Also because the pressure is mostly just on the goalies, this makes the whole game seem a bit unfair. I had high expectations from Brasil, but I guess you win some and lose some. This just wasn't their time. I was hoping Portugal would get far but they did try their best and I guess thats okay too. Ricardo is still an amazing goal keeper! Anyways, Italia did play great, so Congratzz on their victory! Forza Azzuri!

I love the World Cup of Football! I tried watch every game. Most games were enjoyable. The most disappointing thing was the low number of goals scored. On the Yellow Cards and Red Cards handed out? FIFA said that they were going to be tougher on diving and fouls. The officials enforced the rules. On the elimination rounds? I was glad to see Brazil lose... They had played in the past three championship games. It was overdue to see another side make it. On the championship game? It was too defensive and the teams played too tight. I like the more wide open and offensive game with the potential for more scoring. I am happy with the two teams that were there in France and Italia and happy that Italia won the World Cup! I do not mind the shoot-out in the second round, quarters and semis but I think the championship game should go on, extra-time after extra-time, until there is a winner...

And for some reason i am going to't get Nessun Dorma out of my head, the first time I heard it became in the time of Italia ninety and the completed of the united kingdom went mad for the three Tenors after that!!!

Not at all. The Cup was won by a country who should have been eliminated in the pre-quarterfinal rounds.

i think Ghana going to the round of 16 was crazy so this years world cup was awesome

It sucked, because some teams just got lucky. Italy didn't deserve to win, they just had a stroke of good luck. Germany should have won, France second, and England third.

it was the worst of all the WC's and what proved it was beating a record in lowest # of goals + record in red cards!
these are all proofs to how bad it was. oh, 4got to mention the stupid final

i was surprised that none of the big players did anything exciting exept that head butt, that was preatty funny
