I'm talking about the 3rd place Final match, such as the one between Germany vs. Portugal in this World Cup.
Yes I think they should cancel these third place matches. Who remembers them in retrospect? And sometimes its humiliating for certain teams to play for such a victory.

The World Cup is all about the winner, I'm afraid. Only the winner of the entire competition counts. Even second place is no-where in the history of the World Cup, except as a 'loser'.

Who else thinks that Steven Gerrard is an awsome player on the pitch and rather cute too? He can play well in all positions, i wouldnt be surprised if he puts the gloves on and starts saving some shots too!

IS it me, or is this world cup ver very very similar to that of the world cup in 1998?? I mean the final is france and italy (again) The french beat brazil (strangely) the italians won over Germany (Oddly).
