Being the host nation, germany didn't make it to the final. how about the 3rd place? I hope they win. germany is one of my fav teams

I think Germany deserves to win the 3rd place, even though I view the 3rd place competition as really worthless. Who cares about it in historical perspective?
Germany was a great team this world cup, and in my view deserved to win the World Cup. They were Great hosts, and on the whole played a lot more fair soccer (less fouling) than some of the other countries.
If they happen to lose to Portugal it will be a shame, but no big deal. They still have my undying support.

Bye bye Portugal. Low class football compared to Germany. Portugal used their possibility to win the weakest crew, yet couldn't even beat suffering Germany with the so referred to as "perfect participant contained in the international." once Ronaldo begins playing like a guy, possibly they are going to have conceivable. As of acceptable this second, the Portugese can help their associates who will with slightly of success win this.

i would like portugal to win, but of course germany is a favourite because it is in germany, and it all depends on the referee. portugal would deserve at least the 3rd place, since they definately deserved a victory over france

i guess that what will really happen , portugal is much stonger than germany , but if germany lost all fans and the country will really be pissed off. but who cares i want portugal to win it

be a shame coming in 4th as the host nation, but nothing to frown upon. Heck the favorite didn't even make it out of the quarters.

i dislike portugal and i hate cristiano ronaldo even more esp since the rooney incident, i always support germany from forever, although they win or lose i'll always support them, but i reall hope they'll kick portugal off!!

I hope they win , too :-) But if not , it wouldn't be too bad since they had a great tournament.
The game today is called the "Final of hearts" that says pretty much I think.
