I know Orlando Cabrera had 63 games but it ended yesterday (7/7) went 0 for 4 against the A's. Who had one that is more than 63?

First of all, Orlando Cabrera didn't have a hit streak. He had a reach a base safely streak which doesnt necessarily mean hits. He could get on b/c of a walk, a hit by pitch, dropped 3rd strike, pinch run, and about 19 more ways, i just cant think of them all right now.

Anyway, Joe DiMaggio has the record for longest hit streak at 56 games.

Cabrera did not have a 63 game streak or it would have been headlines days ago! Joltin Joe DiMaggio of the New York Yankees holds the record with a 56 game hitting streak in 1941.

Orlando Cabrera had a streak of reaching base in consecutive games of 63 - not a hitting streak of 63 games. Totally different...

The answer you seek for the longest hitting streak is Mr. Joe DiMaggio with 56. As far as longest streak of reaching base in consecutive games, it is 84, held by Mr. Ted Williams (1949).

You obviously don't know much about baseball. Orland Cabrera wasn't even close to have a 63 game hit streak. That would have been the all-time record. It wasn't Ted Williams either. It was Joe Dimaggio on the Yankees. He had a 56 game hit-streak in 1941 which still stands as the record.

He definitely didn't have a 63 game hitting streak because that would have broken the record. The record is 56 games which is held by Jow Dimaggio.

Joltin Joe had the longest HITTING STREAK of any MLB players. Orlando's was simply for getting on base, which by the way is nothing to laugh at.
