I have done gymnastics and It is incredible about how much progress you can make just by going to one practice. Gymnastics is everthing in my life. My goal is to be on the women's olympic gymnastics team. Carly Patterson and a few other gymnasts I could reccomend are my idol. Isn's it amazing that Carly Patterson is only in high school and is already the best gymnast in the WORLD!!! I challenge everyone of you out there to set a goal and try to complete it. I was IMing a Spanish friend last night after the Spain-France match, and I was far more upset about the outcome than he was. He explained to me that there was no reason to expect Spain to win because they never get out of this round. Today, I read the player's comments about the game on the World Cup website, and pretty much everyone except for Fernando Torres was as pessimistic about what Spain's chances were as my friend was.

Is Spain really doomed to never get to the Quarter-Finals? Or is it a self-fulfilling prophecy--no one expects them to get past this round, so they never do. If it's the latter, then what would it take for Spain to have the confidence to get past the Round of 16?

Ice hockey is one of the fastest, most exciting and intense sports on the planet. It's loved in Canada and Europe, but it's only a niche sport in the USA. Most people in the US don't understand it or know much about the pro and college teams, let alone the stars.

It is too long to wait for World Cup every 4 years. One thing is that it would be good for the economy for the host country and world television advertisment. Also, the good players have a chance to show in 2 years instead of 4 years, and their present at World Cup would be double. The fans would love that.

anyone hear about the celtics might trade number 7 pick for sebastian telfair, the trade wont go down till the celtics see whos left on the board for their pick, i think that if brandon roy and randy foye are both OFF the board the celtics WILL do this trade, i think that this would be intresting playing him with paul peirce

They fall down and cry anytime someone grazes them! They aren't soccer players they are actors! And the Italian League fired the Korean guy who scored against them in the 2002 World cup! I am American with Italian Heritage (Accamando Lineage) And usually I'm proud of that.... But watching their character here at the world cup. I'm angry and ashamed of it....
