it always seems to be frustrating when one part of the game is good and the other seems to leave you

The main reason is it's hard, most people don't get to play enough so they pick up bad habbits. Then when you do your part there is so many other things that can happen. examples
Hit that small branch
bad lie
bad kick
ball mark on the green
weather

Golf is a frustrating game/sport for all players at all levels, even Tiger Woods. For a game that is so simple in concept, it is very difficult to play well and play well consistently. I think that is part of the attraction.
Plus, a person, male or female, can play from the time they are very young until they are very old. Even persons with disabilities can play.

That is just part of the game. If you want to get better, consider taking lessons. Otherwise, just learn to love the frustration.

There are so many different things to learn. Look at the pros. They spend every day of their life playing golf. And they still need coaches and they still can hit horrible shots. And they do it everyday!

Small ball and large open spaces, I think you can figure it out from there. For me, I use the frustration to hit the ball harder and hopefully straighter.

Just calm down and take deep breathes that always relaxes me. Trust me I going to become a pro so I know alot about it.

cause sometimes u cant get that tiny ball in2 a tiny hole in a big course. its especially frustrating when u suck @ it.

Be consistent and you won't have to walk down the course dropping F-bombs. Best way to do this is to swing nice and soft. :-)
