It is too long to wait for World Cup every 4 years. One thing is that it would be good for the economy for the host country and world television advertisment. Also, the good players have a chance to show in 2 years instead of 4 years, and their present at World Cup would be double. The fans would love that.

Personally, I would absolutely love that! The problem is that I'd have to come up with a month's worth of excuses for not doing work so I could go to bars to watch the matches every 2 years instead of every 4. Someone might start to notice the pattern if it were that often.

Also, even though August of this year (the longest possible time before the next World Cup) will be a depressing month for me, it makes the game more special that it doesn't come around very often. If it were every 2 years, we might get jaded and not care as much.

It should be be every 2 yrs not only because everybody loves foot ball but also some players who are great now might be old to play or useless in 4 yrs time

BUT TOO BAD EVERY 2 YRS WOULD BE HELL ON EARTH and it wouldn't be something to look forward to, then rugby would bcome the worlds best sport
And also seeing the same team win each time would be boring 4 years gives other countries time to improve and shock everyone lyk ghana did

No. I think it would take away from all the excitement of waiting. The Euro Cup is always in between; it's exactly the reason why the Euro Cup is always 2 years after the World Cup.

no it should not, because there are also many other *cups* that go on like the asian cup, euro cup and many others. if the world cup was every 2 years other teams whom have not made it into the world cup would have nothing to do. Soccer is not all about the world cup, a true soccer fan watches all the small tourn. and friendly games

I dont think so. The reason is they have to put into account factors like uefa champions, african cup of nations, spanish la liga, bundesliga that all happen after every two years. Imagine how tired the players will be at the end of it . Do you think they will be able to play world cup should they decide to make it every two years?
