....JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are being proved correct on their stand for the sanctity of blood(Acts 15:28,29) & for health reasons ESPECIALLY by religiously predjudiced people?

....The Boston Globe Magazine reports that blood specialist Dr. Charles Huggins admits that blood “must be considered unavoidably non-safe.” He describes blood as “the MOST DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE (my caps) we use in medicine.” Since early 1989 the number of infectious diseases blood banks typically test for has increased to five (HTLV-I, associated with adult T-cell leukemia, syphilis, hepatitis B, AIDS, and hepatitis C). However, according to AMERICAN RED CROSS authority S. Gerald Sandler, “it seems that it’s only a matter of time until we find another rare disease spread by blood transfusion"

Adverse circumstances test our courage, our strength of mind, and the depth of our conviction in the Dharma. There is nothing exceptional about practicing Dharma in a good environment and atmosphere. The true test is if we can maintain our practice in adverse conditions.

Originally Moses and the slaves were going to be let go by the pharaoh as they marched their way back to the "holy land". But then they began to pillage and ransack villages on their way, stealing from and murdering the people from these villages. The pharaoh got wind of this, and wanted to protect the villagers. He sent his army to help the poor villagers, and then Moses, helped by God, drown them in the Reed Sea. Why would God do this to people who are trying to help people from getting killed and robbed?? .. is he choosing "favorites?" ...

Exodus 4:24

First question: Why did God try to do such a thing?

(If you are not familiar with this, it tells of a situation where God met him passing in the hallway at the hotel, and suddenly tried to kill him.)

Second question: Why did God not succeed in killing him? We know God didn't succeed, because later the guy is still alive.

You needn't tell me who it was God tried to kill, I already know.

What? Oh, you want me to quote the passage verbatim?

"And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the Lord met him, and sought to kill him."

What? Yes, the word 'Lord' means God.
I'm collecting all Bible passages where he tried to do something, but couldn't.

Replies from church folks appreciated.

When you read the bible, have you ever wondered, if the god in the old testament and the god in the new testament are two different gods? They sure read like Jekyll and Hyde.
