Yes.
When the preachers, etc make more than they would working in the private sector.

When the preacher makes more money than the average member of his church.

Too "rich" as in money...I think it can be blessed.....it can be richly blessed according to God's standards if the money is being used with "good" Biblical stewardship.....giving as it is given unto them...and giving out according to God's principles laid out firmly in the Bible.....To hoard money is not Biblical. Too big? No, I do not believe a body of believers, (a church) can be too big. It's all about good stewardship.....are we handling the money apporpriately..as well as the people who sit under the ministry.

Every church is too big and too rich. As long as there are people starving of hunger and a church is operating and taking donations for candles, pamphlets and golden crusifices, well, what do you think???

Yes, once a church grows past a certain size it can become stuck in a variety of traps that limit its effectiveness as a body. For example, they can think "look how great we are to have grown so much" which defeats the purpose of what God has been working to accomplish.

Yes! And the entire idea of "Church" has become altered!

The Church, biblically, is THE BELIEVERS themselves. Not the building they build to go to meet in!

There isn't supposed to be any paid organization, just true believers meeting regularly to pray, study the Bible and help each other out thru this vale of tears we call our life.

TOO much money is being poured into the buildings and programs and paid Pastors and headquarters, etc. It's not the way it was to be.

Big organized religions and priests, etc have laid up treasures here on earth, not in heaven.

I think it can be either. I tend to shy away from mega-churches. That is not to say they are wrong or mishandling money by definition. Many people love the large churches - and that's fine for them. I prefer a smaller local church where one can observe the character of those who are teaching the Bible, giving spiritual advice, and administering your tithes and offerings.

Yes, From my understanding a church is suppose to help and support...Are you really helping or supporting all that you can, if the pastor is driving a Benz and there's a homeless man on the front stoop.
