Col a million:15 does no longer say Jesus strengthen into the at first God's creations. It says, "the firstborn over all creation." you think of it potential the 1st of God's creations, yet it extremely isn't what it says. It says firstborn. it relatively is a call. King David strengthen into the youngest in the family individuals (a million Samuel sixteen:11). God called him a firstborn additionally. (Psalm 89:20 & 27). Firstborns have inheritance rights. Firstborns are set aside for God. Stuff like that. additionally, Col a million:sixteen says Jesus created all issues. i presumed God created all issues. Col a million:17 says Jesus strengthen into till now all issues. i presumed God strengthen into till now all issues. Col a million:19 says ALL of God's fullness is in Him. So, if Jesus strengthen into no longer God, how would desire to he be till now Abraham? i understand for a actuality that I wasn't. observe how the Jews considered Jesus' assertion to signify he strengthen into claiming to be God? I did.

Jesus never says "I am God, WORSHIP me". If some guy came up to you on the streets and said that, you would call him an impostor, and by no means would follow and worship him. Jesus knows this as well as anyone about people's natural reaction. But Jesus did get the message through of his identity as God in many more indirect ways, ways that we wouldn't reject. One example would be :

"I and the Father are One." -John 10:30

Here Jesus claims that he and the Father are One, but in what way? He is not saying that he is the same person as the Father - which would require the 'one' in Greek to be masculine, nor is he saying that he is one with the Father in purpose (which many Muslims argue). Jesus is asserting his unity with the Father as author of eternal life. The Jews listening to him understood his claim as God, and even accuse him of blasphemy. If Jesus was just saying that his purpose was similar to God's, he wouldn't have been accused for blasphemy. After the Jews accuse Jesus of blasphemy, he doesn't even deny their accusation in verses 34-36. After not denying the accusation in verses 37-38 he restates his claim to be God in slightly different words.

"If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father." John 10:37-38

Again, the Jews realized what Jesus was saying, though he didn't say exactly "I am God, worship me". They knew what he meant, and after Jesus made his reclaim as God, they tried to seize him again for blasphemy.

If Jesus wasn't saying that he was God, why would the Jews have tried to seize him for blasphemy - twice?

Lets try another verse where Jesus makes his identity as God clear.

"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.
John 8:58-59

This is a reference to Exodus 3:14 where God reveals his own name to be "I am". Jesus is claiming his existence before Abraham and his identity as God. Did the Jews around Jesus understand what he was saying? Yes, and thats exactly why they began to stone him. If Jesus wasn't claiming to be God, he either wouldn't have had stones thrown at him, or he would have cleared up the misunderstanding to lead the Jews to think that he was God.

Jesus, aside from claiming to be God in indirect ways, accepted worship.

And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’ Matthew 14:32-33

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Matthew 28: 16-17

Jesus clearly accepted worship. If he wasn't God, he wouldn't have accepted the worship, and told them not to worship him. But Jesus accepted worship, because he was God.

Jesus is the Son of God, part of the Holy Trinity. There's the proof that I believe it. I made the statement.

Oh, wait.... you want proof that he's actually the Son of God?

“If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.” (John 10:37-38)
“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.” (John 20:29-31)

Yes, there are many.

But proving that is Jesus IS God is different than proving that Jesus is MY God. The proof of the first is found in scripture. The proof of the second is found in my life.

god bless

My God can make a rock too heavy for Himself to lift. My God can wear flesh whenever He so chooses. ( Exodus 33 by Moses )

My God has no man made limitations on Him.
