Doesn't it stand to reason if there is one God why not others. Couldn't he have brothers and sisters Mom and dad aunts and uncles first and seconds cousins. There might just be a load of gods out there.

I read somewhere that teens and kids don't go to hell... Is this true? Cause like... I have heard of teens killing themselves because of misery and if they went to hell that's sad..

I am not a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Buddhist, scientologist...after studying each faiths guidelines and practices, I choose not to affiliate myself with any one faith. It seems that each faith has at its core beneficial “truth”. However, over time they have become somehow tainted. I have moral issues in joining a club that I don’t have 100% agreement with.
The big upside I see in organized religion is the brotherhood. I honestly think that this is the reason most people join there “club”.
How would you feel if I, someone who has shunned your faith, a practicer of spiritual acts that would get him cast out of some worship circles, took you up on your invitation and joined you on your holy day, with the sole intention of...socializing. I have done this in the past. Upon disclosing my true, spiritually shallow intentions, I'm usually met with anger, and/or disappointment.
Can I ask, what is the source of that reaction? What would be your reaction? Would anyone join if I started an “All Faiths Club”?

Exodus 20:3 "Worship no god but me."

Why would he demand this if there are no other gods? How can you know that your god is the only god? How can you know that all you credit your god with has actually been done by your god? If there was another god, how could you detect the difference when another god would have all the abilities of your god. How do you know your god is good. Nothing your god has done proves goodness. Sending his only son doesn't prove it.

Just curious.

And Christians --- for shame when we do this. We shame the name of Christ when we step out of unity and give nonbelievers further ammunition against us.

I recently posted this quiz to creationists. I want to see if there is a difference in the level of understanding about what evolution is between those who believe it is true and those who don't. Thank you for your responses.

True or false:
1) According to evolutionists, Humans evolved from apes?
2) There are many proven facts in science, but evolution is just a theory.
3) A transitional form is a fossil of an animal that is part one species and part another.
4) The age of the earth is determined by scientists solely through the radioactive dating of fossils ?
5) The scientific method begins with a prediction and then looks for evidence to support that prediction?
6) The theory of evolution includes the Big Bang?
7) To believe in evolution is to believe that life and matter came from nothing?

Thanks again!

I was raised as an average Christian. I grew up going to Church sometimes, but mostly with friends. I question alot of things, I don't believe a lot in the bible because none of it is proven. Your going by what people tell you, and a book that was written thousands of years ago with expired beliefs and who's to say after the many times it was translated that some was lost in translation? Who's to say it's not just something to live your life by? I believe in a superior being, something like God watching over us, an afterlife and a heaven and maybe hell.... but 95% of the bible you just can't believe. What is faith? Faith is believing in what others told you, not believing in God, because technically God doesn't exist, he's never given you anything personally to believe in. Would I go to a Hell if there was one for believing this? Am I considered a certain type of religion?

Especially, "The Dalai Lama needs to find salvation in Jesus Christ."

Oy.

My question to everyone would be, is this funny (link below)? And would the Dalai Lama himself approve of it?

I heard that this is an atheist movie. But listen here. There's a god in it and witches. Just like the bible. Christians should love this movie. Atheists should be the ones that hate it. Or maybe it's because the atheists accept it as fantasy.
