It was a minor heart attack and he will be ready when Jeopardy starts back in January. But death DOES come to us all. It's not God saying anything. It's just the natural course of Life.

Maybe that's God's way of saying its time for Jeopardy to get a host who isn't boring and tells lame jokes. Ben Stein would be an improvement.
