Especially, "The Dalai Lama needs to find salvation in Jesus Christ."
Oy.
My question to everyone would be, is this funny (link below)? And would the Dalai Lama himself approve of it?

By the way, I'm Buddhist and I designed that one. I think he would approve of the veiled reference to reincarnation and the "hip" wording since he is, indeed, awesome.

This is only what I think.
The Dalai Lama is more enlightened, more compassionate, more tolerant, more forgiving, more playful, more grace filled, more everything than any Christian I have ever met!!!

I don't think you can say "all Buddhists have no sense of humour", especially if you're swiping at their religion. Would you walk up to an Islamic woman and ridicule her hijab? No? Thought not. Yes? There's a matter of etiquette that needs sorting. Let's not stereotype into groups. You're a Christian, so take Galatians 3:28, "There shall be no Jew nor Gentile, male nor female, slave no free, for we are all made one in Christ." We're taught by Jesus to love one another. Strong stereotypes like this, especially those which are negative, are a form of demeaning discrimination. Maybe they don't find it funny when you mock their religion because... it's not.

The Dalai Lama is super cool and that is why he sometimes hungout with John Paul II. What i think is that fundamentalists totally lack any good qualities, most especially common sense.

I am actually a little saddened by the answers too, but for different reasons.
The man smiles peacefully and talks about happiness and peace and everyone thinks he is great. However, if you actually look at the history of the man and Tibet, you find that all is not love and peace with him.
He was part of a feudal system of monks who ruled Tibet with an iron fist. The ruling monk class did not have to work, but lived in the lap of luxury from the "donations" of the faithful (who were in fact serfs). No wonder he wanted to go back. I think, however, that the fame and wealth of being a celebrity has lessened his desire to rule Tibet again.

The Dalai lama is a great man. I don't see the humour.

Not offensive, like those "nun chuckers" and "grow your own jesus"'s that I've seen - but going on my to buy-list nonetheless.
I wouldn't want to offend the dalai lama anyway. He rules.

Christians demonize and fear what they don't understand. The Dalai Lama is one of many things they have very little understanding of.

Not laughing...these idiots actually exist and could be spreading their disease of ignorance to others. Thankfully I was injected with the enlightenment vaccine at a young age so I am not susceptible to the garbage they spew out.
