Hi friend. Typically, one begins by speaking with representatives of the Church that can visit you in your home. To receive visits from these "missionaries," see http://www.mormon.org/question/talk/0,8554,796-1,00.html .

Alternatively, you could just visit a Mormon chapel on Sunday and tell the pastor (called a bishop) that you're interested in learning more. To find out where the nearest Mormon chapel is to your home (and what times the meetings start), visit http://www.lds.org/basicbeliefs/meetinghouse .

I love being Mormon. It has changed my life by helping me grow closer to Jesus Christ. Good luck with your further research.

There are numerous ways:
- Contact a member
- Contact a Bishop
- Contact the missionaries directly.
- Visit a church website and set something up.

Either way, all these roads inevitably lead to the missionaries. I saw in one of your previous posts that you converted to Catholicism as an adult, no? Well the Missionary discussions (6 when I was a missionary but I believe they are compacted into 4 now) are equivalent to the RCIA classes you took in the Catholic Church (except these discussions don't take 6 months to a year as the RCIA does in Catholicism, and in Mormonism you can get baptized and confirmed anytime during the year not just during Easter as in Catholicism).

go to lds.org

then look around. tell you see About the Church. A pop up will come then go to meetinghouse locater. Find out what building is closest to you then go to church wearing a white shirt tie and dress pants or (depending if you are male or female) dress that is NOT above the knees or slevvless or backless or dips too low in the front without a cami underneath.

Then go attend the meeting. Just follow people in to wear the chapel is sit down any wear. Look up on the stand. There should be some men sitting. Go up to them and say you want missionary lessons

this will help you http://www.lds.org/library/page/display/0,7098,500-1-355-1,00.html

Go to the website below, ask for a Book of Mormon. There's an option to have it delivered by a missionary or to just have it mailed to you. Select the delivered by a missionary option and they will come by your house deliver the Book of Mormon and you can talk with them about the church, ask any questions, set up a time to meet with them again, etc. After meeting with the missionaries (there are six lessons, although you can take as long as necessary to cover the six lessons) then they will ask you if you want to be baptized and become a member of the church. Meeting with the missionaries is the first step for many prospective members because they can answer questions and provide more information.

Look up your local meetinghouse and give the a call.

Stop the missionaries (if you see them) and tell them you are interested.

Tell a Mormon friend that you are interested .

Either way the missionaries will come to your house to talk to you.

Just visit www.mormon.org, and you can request that Mormon missionaries give you a call, or come visit you, and they would have all the information you would need, regarding joining the Chruch.

Contact a member or the church and a missionary will introduce you to the church. They don't expect anyone to just walk in and join but feel you should investigate what the church is all about first.

One way is to locate the nearest congregation and ask to see the missionaries.

You can find a local meetinghouse here:

Say

"there is no god but god...and joseph smith is his prophet"

three times while walking counter-clockwise around a black rock.

Ooops. Sorry. Wrong incantation.

Seriously, talk with some missionaries...or visit...www.mormon.com.

you have to "Investigate" the church for a while before you make the decision to get baptised. Investigating just means going to church, going to seminary, and checking it out to see if you are feeling it or not.
