It's about a baby that someone dropped off at the door step of a Monk Monistery. He was raised by the Monks and there was a room that the child was never allowed to go in.They were up these steps that led to an attic. He saw Jesus on a cross and spoke to Him all the time & on one rainy night he thought Jesus would be cold so the child brought Jesus a blanket.Jesus came down off the cross and the child sat and talked with Jesus & Jesus asked himif he wanted to be with his Mother and Father & the child said yes.He died in Jesus's arms. It's a very, very old movie.I saw it when I was a child and I never forgot it & never seen it again on TV. It was only on television once [that I know of]. I tried to find this movie, but couldn't. Thanks,Faith

Does the anonymous nature of the internet allow for greater cruelty toward one another, or is everyone like this in real life?

Religion seems to play a large role in US politics despite separation of church and state. I have also just read with this whole Romney thing, that something like 30% of the US public indicated they would not vote for him because he is Mormon.

This sounds to me like discrimination, an erroneous generalization; demonstration of support for a false sterotype regarding what ALL Mormon's are suppose to be like. And, evidently contradicts the notion that state and church are separate.

Now, I am not from the US, nor familiar with US politics, and I don’t mean to tread on anyone’s religious beliefs or political stance. I simply wish to understand what people CAN accurately glean from religious affiliation beyond what appears to be only discrimination and false sterotypes.

Who is Balaam who prophesied that ...Num 24:17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth.

Now, think over this very, very carefully . . . . . . . if he is a false prophet as many, many darkened teachers had taught.....why is it that his prophecy was so precise and accurate regarding to the Messiah?

Think carefully for the Lord will hold you accountable... esp if you do not have the fear of God as He had warned.....

Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Ok, well I am an Atheist, and I just want to know why so many people have so many different views on what an Atheist is, what an Atheist believes in, and why so many people think that Atheists are so violent?
For example, one girl I met that didn't know I was an Atheist yet, said she thought Atheists believe that after we die we become trees. I had never heard anything like this before, and since then I've heard alot of different beliefs about Atheists that are pretty off mark. So it got me thinking, why is there so much confusion about it?

How do you understand this verse, especially when it said, tongues shall cease. Please interpret in the light from 1 Cor ch11 to 15.

1) 1Co 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

2) 1Co 14:22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

(NOTE: Tongues is a sign to the UNBELIEVERS! ! ! )

Please interpret, TQ.

What do religions other than Christianity think in opposition to the theory of evolution? What are the creation stories somewhat equivalent to Adam and Eve?
Please only answer with specific knowledge.

Sure there are a lot of wacky fundamentalists who give the religion a bad name, but they are no worse than fundamentalists of any religion and they are a very small minority. For the most part we are moral, law abiding citizens who don't look to push our religion on anybody else. If the religion really helps us as people, then why do you feel it neccessary to prove that it false?

and say they DO

Why is my prayer anymore a waste of time than your sitting on Y!A? Why are you here? If prayer is a waste of time, isn't Y!A also? So quit wasting your time here...get out and DO.

Someone will call me a hypocrite because I am here too. I am simply pointing out that if my praying for the needy is a waste of time, then you sitting on Y!A is a waste of time as well. You aren't doing anything constructive to help at this moment...so why aren't you out doing something?

Oh, wait, I forgot Christians waste time by praying (according to you atheists). Atheists never waste time, now do they? They are always doing for others with every spare second they have...

Oh, wait. You are here. My bad.

How is my spending time praying anymore useless to the needy (I don't think it's useless) than you sitting on Y!A?

Yep, this is basically a big F you, if you tell Christians they should be constantly doing instead of praying, and that you are superior because you DO with your time.

With so much controversy going on, I am led to ask this question. What makes atheists believe they bible is a hoax. Secondly, You are always asking for proof that there is a God. I'm asking you to prove if you can that there is no God. I want to start a debate, but I want to keep it clean, no name calling. No making persons of the other persuasion feel like they are ignorant. Can we just agree that we will disagree, and provide the best answers possible. I'll be the first to tell you, I am a Christian, and no matter how hard you try, I will never believe that there is no God. OK, let the best answers win.

Is believing in God enough, or do you have to be in a religion too?
