you can always try to prove god's existence.
the problem is that the only method that has reliability and validity is the scientific method.
of course if u don't like the word 'science', u can always try other methods of knowing and acquiring knowledge. which includes, the method of tenacity, the method of intuition, the method of authority, the rational method, the empirical method. these methods aren't not very reliable and nor valid.

Can't be done. So concluded noted Catholic theoligian Hans Kung, who examined the matter in excruciating detail [ref. 1], and concluded that neither the existence or non-existence of god could be demonstrated on the basis of logic or evidence. But there is a fair amount of evidence on the subject, all of which indicates that there is no such thing [ref. 2] And there is a lot of evidence that believing in a god is detrimental [ref. 3].

i agree with Tuberoot...a person cannot prove God's existence to another...unless God makes this happen.
God personally has shown each and every soul "proof" of His existence but some of us have completely shut down to any prompting from the Holy Spirit. You cannot blame God for your lack of belief. In this earthly life there is sufficient evidence of God's existence without God having to force it on you. For the believer the evidence is overwhelming...it is impossible to deny His existence. He is in me as He is in you as He is in others who believe in Him...the True God. There is only ONE. Trust in Jesus!! and He will lead you to His Church. God uses people to prove to others that He exist. Jesus said "I am the Way the Truth and the Life, whoever believes in Me though he dies he will live" Now open your heart and let Him in and you will see miracles everywhere.

God proves His existence. He only gives the proof to those who He wants to have it. The proof is the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would come after He ascended. He did that at the end of John 15, and in the midst of John 16.
So you can try to prove God's existence, I hope that He gives any one of us that power, but remember, Jesus did miracles right in front of the eyes of many people. They didn't say that He didn't, they came up with reason how He did it. Some said that He did it because God in with Him. Others said that He did it because the devil gave Him the power. But those who didn't believe still didn't believe even though they saw miracles.
So what is it then that a guy like me can see the proof? Because God wanted me to see the proof. He gave it to me to see it. He gave me the ability to understand what it is that He was doing.
So until God gives someone else the ability to prove God, all we have is evidence. God still holds the power to prove Himself.

if you don't believe the first few paragraphs in the bible
where it said that God created the heavens and earth
then close the book and move on, it all starts there.
the fact is that nether side can with all proof and certainty that it is or isn't. I would say read it and come to you own conclusions

can you see the wind? NO but you can feel it's effects when it cools you on a warm day or chills your checks on a winter day. Since you can't see the wind does it mean it does'nt exist? You can't even see a tornado until it sucks up debris and scatters it. God is a spirit.. something like the wind..you can't see it but when you come in contact with it you know it's there.
