Since they do not vote or participate in politics or salute the flag or say the pledge of allegence, Today's holiday represents nationalism and that cannot be tolerated by them. What do you think?

If I have charity, and love others, and increase my talents and have faith in Christ, won't I be fine?

What has triggered about 6000 years ago (as per some religious books - science has already proved it to be millions and millions years old) to prompt the God to create this world. Was he feeling bored and there was no Y!A around to pass the time ? When he is eternal, why he did not thought of this before. And when he was creating this world, why he did not kept the things simple by not introducing Pagans etc. before all self professed successors to Abraham started fighting on who is the real successor. And what will happen after last day ? Will he come up with another of his toy world again ? Will he destroy that toy world again ?

I see Cheating and nasty answers and a general lack of love among some of the witneses. I see some members being oughtrigit rude to those who ask pointed and good questions.
Do you think that those who claim to be Jehovah's Witneses here, actrually are?

If not, please explain why not. I thought Jesus dies for all sinners. Are there exceptions? Please explain.

I admire that you want creationism to be taught as Science.

Welcome to Science's playground. Now, biblical verses won't count.

You need logical arguments to debate/discuss. To start with very simple question, can you please refute endogenous retrogene insertions, Scientifically?

Endogenous retrogene insertions are molecular remnants of a past parasitic viral infection. Occasionally, copies of a retrovirus genome are found in its host's genome, and these retroviral gene copies are called endogenous retroviral sequences. Retroviruses, like HIV, make a DNA copy of their own viral genome and insert it into their host's genome. If this happens to a germ line cell (i.e. the sperm or egg cells) the retroviral DNA will be inherited by descendants of the host.

This process is rare and fairly random, so finding retrogenes in identical chromosomal positions of two different species indicates common ancestry.

Be kind and please I said, Scientifically.

Give it your best shot!

I was looking at this Rotheram Museum exhibited that's being hosted at my school in Sheffield at the moment for the week because it's and exhibit on Islam and I was reading the creation story according to the Quran and it sounded much more believable then that of the Bible seen as the Bible says that God made the Earth out of nothing and the skys and everything out of nothing which Science goes against happening whereas the Quran says Heaven and Earth were once one ball of smoke(gas) and stars and planets began to form and they seperated which if you look at Scientific research you can actually see the stars and planets forming in the clouds of gas which ignite to form planets and stars and it just seems much more believeable then the Bible as what the Quran says you can actually see happening today.

if you do, do you realise how big it would have had to be to carry at least 7 of nearly every animal?
Do you realise how many tree's it would have needed?
and how do you think he would have gathered animals from all over the world?

I know most of you realise its just a story so this question is directed to the simpltons who think it was fact!

Has anyone else here noticed that questions about JW's seem end up being violations frequently? Even questions that violate absolutely no rules. Yet they are reported and you lose point. Anyone else notice this?

Also anyone else notice that JW's seem to block anyone who answers in a way that they cannot refute?

According to Intelligent Design, how did life come from non-life? By that I mean, when life first began to exist, how did it happen?

I should note that I'm not talking about life in this universe, but life in general. According to cdesign proponentists (design proponents), life in the universe was created by some greater life form (like God). That's biogenesis (life from life) and therefore insufficient to explain abiogenesis (life from nonlife).

So where did the first life form (God) come from? How did living material form from inanimate material?

In short, what's the Intelligent Design theory of abiogenesis?

Bible has over 400 prophecies

Jesus fulfilled 300 if not more

King Solomon wrote how Jesus would be betrayed for thirty pieces of silver

Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver

King solomon lived about 1000 years before Jesus

This is proof of prophecy,

Are there any prophecies that have been fulfilled by the Quran

and if not why do you consider it to be so holy when nothing has been substantiated throguh prophecy

but of course if there are prophecies in the quran then ignore the above question

Thanks
