astral projecting??

Question

I want to find more information on astral projecting. like how to do it. and what would happen if you fell asleep while doing it? My dad told me some people his friend knew used to do it but they never came back. is this true? what do you do to astral project like how do you start. i want to try but i dont want to die or anything. any info you could give me please?

Okay. First, your Dad's friend is wrong. Astral projection is done while the body is asleep, but the mind is awake. Google it - there are lots of sites out there. Your astral body is attached to your real body by a silver cord which can't be broken while out. You can get back into your real body whenever you want. It takes practice to do this, though it does come naturally to some people.

The astral plane doesn't exist. Astral projecting is a bunch of crap. If you want to do it, just pretend like you're doing it and then tell all your friends that you did it. The effect will be the same as if you had actually done it.

Even though it doesn't exist, there are lots of books on the subject that treat it as if it is real. I wouldn't suggest wasting your time on such things though.
