The Mormon take on Almighty God, Jehovah and Jesus bears no resemblance to what the Bible says. They have some very strange notions about how Jehovah is different to Almighty God and how Jesus came to be. Although they claim to believe in Jesus Christ, it's not the Jesus Christ Christians know and understand. When the missionaries first talk to you about their beliefs, they are very careful to go along with Christian thinking about the person of Christ. They say they believe the Bible. Their more radical beliefs are not discussed. It's only when you do research about their history and theology that you find out what they REALLY believe.
If they do embrace Christ as their saviour, it will be through the working of the Holy Spirit. Keep on praying for them.

I think a better way to phrase that question would be, "when will the Christian world finally accept that Latter-day Saints (aka Mormons) already do believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as our Savior.
On a similar note from talking with several Born Again Christians, I have come to the understanding that from your average Born Again Christian's view and understanding, all active Latter-day Saints are all saved even some as young as 5 and 6 years old and some even younger. What I have learned is that the average Born Again Christian believes that all you have to do to be saved is profess Christ's name and then accept him into your life as your personal Savior and then you are done, after that you are saved and your place in heaven is secured.
From my perspective if those some people who claim we are not Christians would actually stop and find out what we believe they would come to know that Christ is the focus of everything we do, everything we teach about and everything we work towards. My Dad was recently put in charge of helping to organize the Sunday school lessons in his congregation and in the instruction that he was given he was told that if you cannot relate the lesson that you are teaching to Christ and his atoning sacrifice then you have not done a good enough job at preparing your lesson. That is a sample of the role that Christ plays in our life.

They do believe in Jesus Christ, he is their center of the believe system. The only problem is that they believe what Joseph Smith said about him vs. what the Bible says about him. That is why people say that they believe in a "different" Jesus. When Joseph changed or added to who Jesus is, he in a sense made him a different Jesus.

Please refrain from speaking about others' religious beliefs when you don't really understand them. It's pretentious.
A Christian is someone who believes that Christ is the divine Savior of the world, He through whom sins are forgiven. As best I can tell, "non-Mormon" Christians believe this with the same conviction we Mormon Christians believe it, so I'd say they are just as Christian as we are. We certainly do accept Christ as our Savior.

"Mormon is a term used to describe the adherents, practitioners, followers or constituents of Mormonism. The term most often refers to a member of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), which is commonly called the Mormon Church."
Sounds like they do. They just don't worship him the same as you. God, what does it matter? WHY DO YOU CARE!?
