Scripture prohibits self pleasure like masturbation....it's a sin. I have disciplined my son for it before, but my husband refuse to take a leadership role and really discipline him. Am I wrong on this?

Other than the Bible says it is true and Jesus said he was the "way, the truth and the life" why should the average person on the street believe that?

Deuteronomy 7:9

My argument: If God's love is lavished on those who love him and obey his commands, it is conditional love. Conditional love cannot be unfailing.

I know this is just another flagging of a contradiction to show the ridiculousness of fundamentalism, but I am interested to know from those here who believe in God, do you think His love is conditional or unconditional?

I am more inclined to believe people who claim to be demon possessed, or have been told my religious folks that they are or once were demon possessed just simply had some mental disorder, chemical imballance or mental Ilness. I am a Christian also. Do you actually think demon possession happens?

Some people asked earlier about what a R&S get together would look like. Now I would like to ask: if there were an R&S convention, who would you like to see lecture? When I first saw the Landover Baptist Church website, I was fooled for a few minutes before clueing into the satire. Then, when I was later introduced to the Westboro Baptist Church, I thought for sure it was a similar satire. My heart cried for our species when I found out it wasn't.

Anyone else mistake serious websites for satirical ones?
