I've been here for over a year, and there has always been more sniping than legit questions or answers.
One change I have noticed is the solidarity between the atheists/agnostics. The in-games. That didn't exist way back when.
It's still not a fun place though. *shudder* I'm much happier in cats or even p&s. Cats may not have a sense of humor, and we have our own internecine issues, but at least it actually matters!

That's because this section comes up on the main page and people find it easy to laugh and joke about things that, well seem ridiculous to many people.
If the section was left off the main page you would probably find people wouldn't click on it to comment much other than serious stuff.

What are you talking about athiest/do you know anything about love Bett - people do not keep doing things for any amount of time if there is not love involved. Of course you would say political opinion, close second Bett.

Yes..but there are "some here", sweet Pangel, Cindy and others that try and spread, Love, Peace and Joy to others..but those kind of Questions usually get deleted.. :(
But for the most of it..seems that way.. :(

If you are talking about the questions and answers, some of the questions and answers are given I think because people are not seen or known and they tend to be nasty and stupid responses because no one know who they are.
It is the Shock affect or just plain ignorance effect I guess.

One thing it is: it is the ideal place to learn how Fundamentalist Christiians 'think'. I first came here in search of a spirituaul path but the Fundies reaffirmed my atheism--their bigotry, racism, anti-women, anti-American, anti-human rights positions, and rigid, unbending interpretation of primitive, ancient, absurd religion. Clearly, these people are not Christians. Great comics!
