I'm still searching for the answer... killing/murdering is one of the heaviest sin ever... u can buy your ticket to hell for committing this... unless u repent and will never do it again... what about those who died protecting our country?? they kill, they shoot enemies... will they be in hell or heaven... are they doing the right thing? is it enough dying for the sake of the country but suffer forever in hell?? is it noble?? or is it plain stupid?? no offense... anyway, why must we protect this earth even though we know we can't stop the violence, even if we try...??

If I were an omnipotent God I wouldnt let any such things to happen... I have a conscience....

This leads us to the idea that God is either NON existent or it is an evil God... So God is Satan....or they both dont exist... God and bad right and wrong are subjective matters.... Kisses to you all....

The perfection of our bodies in all there complexity.
Evolution: We began in a puddle of slime and worked our way up to perfect humans over millions of years of natural selection.
This argument is a fantasy: NO proof that any animal or human is evolving or ever did. All animals are in a perfect state on the earth right now. We rule over these animals as GOD intended us to.

Ok so since we are already using our imagination lets try another THEORY: There is a God who is all knowing and he has a Son Jesus Christ.
The earth was created by a God who is perfect.

Now this is VERY possible. In this equation we have a creator. All of earth points to some kind of intelligent design.

Do we have proof there is a God? Yes

The Jews were led by him out of Egypt. No true? There are Jews today.

Another witness? Okay.

Jesus Christ. Was he real? NO?

What is that date you put on all your checks? 2007AD

Two Thousand and Seven years after the death of who?

The son

Did I miss anything? Does it not concern you at all that there is some excuse to explain away every possible question regarding why God never shows himself? The excuses aren't even well-thought out.

My wife and I recently went to Monte Berico here in Italy, we went into the church and walked around. As we were walking around there were little statues in the wall. The first was a nun or a "saint" the people touched it like they got some feeling from it and made the cross sign. Than we walked some more, and of course there was mary, and they did the same thing. Now many of you claim that you don't worship mary or partake in idolatry but your origins do. Maybe the states have watered your religion down to hide the truth? Or maybe they did it to attract more people? But what I am saying is how can you sit there and deny these things when it's happening here in Italy, the HQ of catholicsm. Everywhere I go I see statues of mary, why not Jesus? Dare someone put up a statue or picture of Jesus, mary would have to be in it too. So why don't you just admit it that you worship mary?

I often see so called "Christians" post questions about the SCIENTIFIC Theory of Evolution and then "disprove" it by citing Kent Hovind or Behe.

Does the S in R&S stand for Science? I thought it was spirituality.

Not to rant, but many so called Christians continue to bait their brethren with silly posts like Catholics are not Xian nor are LDS or Mormons.

I fear that all of this idiocy spreads like wildfire, while any intelligent answers and or discussion is defecated upon simply because one poster agrees with the original poster's ideology rather than THINK, truly THINK for themselves.

What is your opinion?

My Grandpa thought the phone was witchcraft. He lived in a rural area and they didn't have phone service until he was in his 60s. He couldn't understand how two people on opposite sides of town could talk to each other over a wire.

Right now I know an elderly gentleman who thinks microwave ovens, dishwashers, garbage disposals, and toliet paper are all witchcraft.

I know several elderly people who think makeup is witchcraft.

How many of you know someone who makes witchcraft accusations?

Let's assume that God as in the God of Abraham exists. I say this with the hope of avoiding many of the seemingly necessary ,"God can't be wrong because God doesn't exist" and the like.

But can God be incorrect about something? Like God forgets to carry the one or smites the wrong infidel. Or is God completely infallible?

Christians view the Bible as the word of God.

Christians worship God - Jesus Christ.

European Catholics reject the Bible, God, and Jesus Christ and worship the Pope instead.

Christians believe in capitalism and western democracies.

European Catholics reject capitalism and western democracies preferring instead a male only king for life to worship.

Major differences.

I'm getting married this Saturday!!! My fiance and I are very involved in our church and we make sure we pray together and read the bible together each day. We have promised to keep God in over our marriage since we both believe with all our hearts that God brought us together right on time. Are there other couples out there who keep God in their relationship? We believe this is the only true way for a marriage to stay strong and happy is with God. Anyone else agree?

Here is a link to most of the most recent scientist findings of evolution that were put into textbooks at my school and considered cold hard FACT.

http://evolutiondeceit.com/chapter10.php

We all know of them and we now know that they are evolution impossibilities. But for this breef time they were the facts and if I didn't believe them then I guess I was crazy.

Now evolution proves GOD false. So I guess scientist could use there imagination and draw up a bunch of pictures and make up stories so people would support their religious thoughts, while I was left asking questions.

Evolution Science is a religion for all the atheists of the world who want answers as to the genius of how the world was made.

They don't want to believe in God.

Some day I would like some one to show me the the magic pool of slime where all this life keeps comming from.

until then...

I'm a Christian.

A Christian, like Jesus, is called to act with love in everything he/she does. So where is the place for loving anger?

The latest scripture I've been praying over is about Jesus in the temple with the money-changers (Matthew 21:12, Mark 11:15, John 2:8), and of course it brings up questions about the appropriate place for anger in a Christian's life. Obviously Jesus was Royally Ticked; in their dishonesty, the money-changers were hurting people who were trying to worship God.

Do you have thoughts on the application of that lesson for today, Oct. 29th, 2007?
