You don't need to wait five more years -- I'll tell it to you straight right now:
All religions are fake.

Our solar system is about 2/3's of the way out on the arm of a relatively large spiral galaxy. The solar system orbits the center of the galaxy about once every 250 Million years. So, 13004 years ago, we were about in the same place that we are now.
But, Nostradamus didn't know much about modern astronomy- and nobody else did back then either- so he could say what he wanted.
13000 years ago, modern man looked, more or less, pretty much as we do today. But, we lived in hunter-gatherer clans. This was before 'civilization' and agriculture.

I watched the show too and I dont think they meant that our solar system was in the center of the galaxy, but that the earth and the sun and all those axis things lined up with the center of the galaxy, at least thats how i interpreted it. B/c its impossible that we'd be in the center of the milky way. I think 2012 is interesting but if something big does happen i dont think it will be negative or destructive, I think it'll be something big like scientists find a way to live forever or something like that which will change how everyone functions and lives, sorta like computers have changed everything today. Although I doubt something big will happen, every 13,000 yrs is just a blink of an eye for the universe, not even a blink. The earth is how many billions of yrs old, every 13,000 yrs something big supposed to happen, cmon.

Don't you know God knew there would be a Nostradamus in this world?
God said, that no man knows the day or hour. Neither the Myrans or Nostradamus know when the coming of the Lord will be. He even told us if they say that Jesus Christ is in the dessert or Jesus is here or there - do not believe them. When Jesus returns every eye will see Him, like lightning that flashes from the east to the west with a great noise. You won't need TV to know Jesus is here and that He has returned.
The important thing is - are you ready to meet the Creator of all? The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whose Son is Jesus the Christ is returning soon. The signs of the times are here. Israel is a nation once again.

What does the 2012 thing have to do with religion? I thought it had to do with the Mayan calendar...
I don't think our solar system has EVER been in the center of our galaxy. It's a spiral galaxy that revolves around a massive central core of stars, and we are out on one of the arms of the spiral, so I don't think we would have ever been in the center, nor does the rotation of the galaxy happen within thirteen thousand years. It takes much longer than that.

Didn't you mean roughly 12,995 years ago? If Nostradamus' prediction occurs every 13,000 years, and we haven't reached 2012 yet, then how could the question have been correctly posed to be more than 13,000 years? Thus, perhaps we should ALL be discussing what happened roughly 12,995 years ago instead, not 13,004 years ago. There is a HUGE difference in what happened in those critical years for mankind.

Since the beginning of mankind people have predicted the end.
2000 was one , 1975 was another , 1914 , 1900 and many more.
I think 2012 will be the same as the others.
If you want to get religious the bible says no one knows not Jesus or the angles only god.
Would you like that Scripture ?

Nostradamus has nothing to do with religion whatsoever, and I would also suggest you spend the next 5 years seeking your own answers, rather than wait to see what -- if anything -- unfolds in 2012.

our solar system has not been at the center of the galaxy at any time that can be determined or estimated; certainly not 13,000 years ago.
Native Americans were here in the Americas long before that, BTW; that old theory was disproven years ago.
