This is a question for Atheists, Christians, Agnostics, and all Religions. I'm just wondering if you believe the Big Bang Theory or not, and support your answer with why you do, or why you don't.

I'm not going to tell if I do until after I've chose the best answer. No I'm not going to Choose what I believe in as the best answer, I will choose the person who gave the best reasoning for their answer. I'm also hoping to not get answers like "No because I read the Bible" like I get for other questions.

Would it be better to pray alone at home, or wherever you are at the time you need to pray? Wouldn't you be clearer and more focused alone, and less open to other people trying to direct your prayers where they want them to go?

Catholics identify themselves as Christians. Most non-Christian English speakers include Catholics in the definition of 'Christian'. But I've noticed that on this site a number of people use the word 'Christian' in opposition to 'Catholic'.

If your use of the word 'Christian' excludes 'Catholic', what denomination are you? Where do you live? Do you feel that Catholics are not Christians?

Acts 12:1-16 - When Peter was put in prison, prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him (v.5). After Peter was delivered by the angel of the Lord, he went to the house where many were gathered together praying (v12).
Why then do you think they doubted it was Peter who knocked at their door (v15), and why were they astonished to see him?

I'm going through some things right now and I could really use some prayers. I really need to get back in church and make a difference in my life. I also need to change my lifestyle, as far as living arrangements and such. So please pray that I can do what God wan'ts me to do. Thank you so much!

Why do people say Apostolic Pentecostals are full of the devil?
just because we speak with new tongues... its book of acts folks. How then have I seen people in my church organization (ALJC) cast out devils? Jesus said "How can devils cast out devils?". Think about it, I just wish people would stop being so judgmental of other religions, Pentecostals as well. I just know what I have is real and from God (the gift of speaking in my own language with God) And no man can give it to you, neither any devil, only Jesus Christ!
The Bible clearly says there are two types of Tongues, and the one is to witness to other languages, and the other is what to pray for when you don't know what to pray for and to magnify God. It also says FORBID NO MAN to speak in tongues.

if yes then why: if having sex with animals is an abomination to God; did He 1st try to give Adam animals as soul mates? [Genesis 2:18-20]. Even Adam knew this was wrong, and this was before 'the apple'.

if all things were made for God's pleasure; [rev.4:11] did He create a place for His creation to be torture forever, [Hell in other words.] Is this God's pleasure?

if the only way to be saved is by believing in Jesus [who is the truth], did God make people to believe a lie?

why did God kill that person for trying to save the Ark of the Covenant.

if we are to love our enemies, is God going to keep His alive in torment and suffering forever?

if it is wrong to talk to the dead, did Jesus talk to Moses and Elias?

I'm struggling with my understanding of this loving God who's been my anchor all of my life. There are too many sadistic atrocities happening to innocents including children every day in this orphaned world. I find it sick and selfish and even 'sinful' to pray for things like my own well being and happiness (they seem trivial) when I know at this very moment there is a child is starving to death or in unbearable pain b/c of some terminal disease and the poor mothers who's spirits have died watching their little ones go through this. I know this sounds morbid but these things are happening everyday whether I tune it to the news or put down the paper. I just feel like "what's the point in praying for myself" or even them. People have been praying for milennia for this to stop and it doesn't appear to have made an impact in this world if history is any indicator. What would you say to someone who has lost faith in humanity and who's doubting, not the existance, but the love of God.

I was raised catholic; catholic church, catholic school, my uncle was the parish priest. I've been divorced twice so the catholic church will not accept me as a parishner any longer.
I would like to go to church but I don't know where to begin. All I know is catholicism.

I really don't mind what genre it is. Last time I asked this, I got excellent recommendations for many different types of music.
I'm especially interested in music you know that you feel isn't well-known but should be.
Thanks!

remember that Jesus said "no one is good but God" so if you say Jesus is good then you say he is God according to his words. and if you say that Jesus was bad then you go agenst how you belive that Jesus was a profit. for you belive that all the profits where pure/Good. but even many profits where punshed for being bad...Moses could not enter the Promis land is one example.. anyway just wonder how you will answer this one? whats you idea about this?
